Yeah the protagonist is definitely older than past GTAs. Him talking about having kids and being a family man makes me wonder if they'll put (his) kids in the game.

Maybe it we'll have to make time for his kids, and cook and breakfast and stuff. Take em out to eat and stuff . lol idk what I'm talking about is stuff heavy rain

I think I've watched the Trailer about 10 times already... and read though this shot for shot analysis a few times.

I agree with the previous poster who said they don't think the game is set in modern day... late 90s is the impression that I got.

Otherwise, graphics look outstanding. I'm thinking late 2012 release.

Agreed. Especially with the Home Foreclosure sign and going out of business signs...it looks like present day with the economic troubles.

I don't know why I'm surprised at how good the game looks from a visual standpoint, even though I really shouldn't be surprised, especially with how great GTA IV and RDR looked.

I get the feeling the reason we didn't see San Fierro and Las Venturas yet is because there's two separate trailers with two other characters waiting for us.

The story does look like it's based on the recession. It would be cool if all (or almost all) of the main GTA characters of the past were involved in this game because they're trying to get in on that one big job.

Anyways, I can't ****ing wait. I hope the May 24th hints add up. Also, I really hope it's coming out within the next 6 months or so. I say that because I'm already really impatient, but I want this damn game now. Plus it's hard for me to believe it won't come out until the end of next year when it's already been so long of a wait just to get to this point.

EDIT: And please no bears, cougars, etc, like RDR. They scare me.

I know I read somewhere about having different lead characters so maybe you will be a different character for each of the different cities.. Who knows???

I think it's safe to say that Rockstar showing the yoga scenes was their way of saying the game would be Kinect only.

BluenGold I love your idea about being different characters and then their stories connect to the point that it all comes down to one big score at the end. That would be really neat. I, too think it'd be neat to see all of the main GTA characters from the past showing up possibly in cameos or maybe some will play a decent part in the story of this game.

This game is going to blow our mind. I mean imagine if GTA V carried all three major cities from SA and expanding them. Think of the possibility of flying from one city to the next. Also, the countryside looks even more gorgeous than SA.

Like maybe the next trailer will have a Black guy narrating about something in another city and they have close ups of him like they had the older guy in this trailer..

Or MAYBE.

After that jewelry robbery scene with the 3 guys you can choose which character you wanna play as. That would be good too becuz you would have the chance of living 3 different guys lifes out.

O the possibilities!!
