Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Yeah the protagonist is definitely older than past GTAs. Him talking about having kids and being a family man makes me wonder if they'll put (his) kids in the game.Originally posted by slickdtcI'd ride his bus, that's all I'm saying.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Gonna post some screen shots taken from the trailer. Don't know if these are from the trailer shots or from a website that already has them but, if they aren't they are some pretty good shots.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
One thing GTA:SA didn't do very well was that the San Francisco/Las Vegas Portions hardly had any missions to them."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Just by the screen shots you can kinda tell it will have customization. It goes from plain street clothes to a plaid sweater with a white collar shirt with a tie to sporty type gear with or without shirt.
This should of been in IV regardless. Really had no idea what they were doing limiting customization. Still wish I had a good explanation about that issue. Its gonna be so fun, its gonna be a long wait.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Not only do I think the game looks a lot better graphically, but the atmosphere looks improved from IV which is amazing. GTA IV still has a great atmosphere, but the trailer looks like they've outdone themselves yet again. I also think that the location looks more life-like and realistic than Liberty City in IV. Rockstar did a great job imitating New York City and making the game feel and look alive, but the trailer looks like they have made the game look and feel even more realistic. Maybe it has to do with this map is closer to the scenery I am used to(I've never been to a major city like NYC) so I can relate to the game better, but it just seems the game looks more like real life than IV did.
The streets just look more realistic, the lights just look more alive, the layout and complexity of the city just looks more like a real city than IV did. I don't know why, but it just seems so much more alive and realistic to me. It could just be that it's 4 years later and the technology has just improved that much, I don't know.
What I do know is that I am way too hyped up for this game and the wait is going to kill me. GTA: San Andreas came out two months after the first trailer, I wish that GTA V would beat that and come out by Christmas, but that's me being very very hopeful and unrealistic.
Other things that reminded me of Red Dead were the flapping of materials in the wind. That was very apparent in Red Dead and helped make the world just feel more alive. You can notice it right away in the jogging scene of the trailer. The way the could move around in the Mt. Chilliad scene is just like the cloud system of Red Dead. I really think that we're going to see a lot taken from RDR and brought to GTA V which is awesome because they really nailed down a lot in that game.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
