Does anyone know if the random blips re-appear if you don't engage in them the first time they appear?

Long story short, I was driving around as Trevor when I ran over a lady and cops were all over me. After running over a few cops, and possibly shooting the tires off a few of squad cars to watch them barrel through the streets, I had a 4 star wanted level. I drive to the pier, somewhat lose them, but the helicopters spot me. As I try to drive away, the blip shows up on my map. Of course I can't stop, so I keep speeding away. 5 minutes later, another blip shows up and I drive them over. That or the cops shot them while trying to shoot me.

So will these blips show up if I drive to the same spots again?

Side note.. during my running from the cops spree, I drove past Franklin, so I quickly made a U-turn to see if I can have him help me in my shootout. (Trevor hasn't met/helped Franklin yet) So as I get out.. 5 squad cars surround me, so I take out my uzi and light up the streets. This prompts Franklin to come out and thinking he'll shoot down the cops with me, he ends up taking out his AK47 and starts trying to shoot me down. I shot at him a few times and knocked him down (thinking he was dead) he rose up like a T1000 and chased me as I stole his Charger.

The guy in the truck got buried. I got him out, but the bulldozer got caught in the fire and caught me as I was running away.

I don't think there's a fourth character. That slot is for your GTAO avatar.

It is funny to just walk around and watch **** happen. I was walking around south Los Santos when some Vagos started ****-talking me and opened fire. Everyone around went running, including some lady who ran into the street and got hit by a car.

Soon after, the paramedics show up and start working on her. Then one of the paramedics gets run over by a Vagos banger in a car. The other paramedic pulls the driver out and starts stomping on him. Of course a whole crew of Vagos come to the driver's defense and it becomes a huge melee between the medics and the Vagos.

One of the medics starts running away but then all the Vagos pull out their guns and open fire. I GTFO at that point (accidentally hitting one of the guys with my open passenger door). This game can be pretty unintentionally hilarious.

I also find it fun to walk around Grove Street as Franklin and just mess with the Ballas.

I found an awesome car last night that I haven't seen before. I stole it with Franklin and took it up to the LS Customs that I bought with him to get it tricked out for free.

It was raining when I was driving home and I slammed into the back of a tractor trailer and was sent flying out of the windshield and into the back of the big rig. Died on impact and lost the car

You probably saw a bulldozer with a bucket. Excavators aren't in this game.

I apologize if this topic has been beat to death but I've struggled to keep up. If I come across a great car and I spend a fair bit of money customizing it, where can I trust it'll save? I've read the house garages are not currently reliable, yes? My only other open option seems to be a blue icon on my map near Vinewood Hills, a good sized garage. Is that the correct spot to save a car? Anywhere else? I'm only about 40% through the story I believe, so I'm guessing more areas will open, yes?

Also, if I park and save my car, does the damage and dirtiness save when I load my game up on the next play? Or will it be brand new and fresh again?

I don't know why people are still customizing random cars they steal, when they know the garages are glitched.

I only customize the characters main car (like Franklin's Charger) that way, no matter what, I always get the same customized car as before.

The best overall times in the races are absolutely insane. Car races I can understand, but how in the world are my triathlon times coming up 40+ seconds short of the best time? lol

Triathlons are the latest reminder that I'm getting old. These hands just aren't conditioned to repeatedly pound the A button nonstop for 5 minutes anymore. My right hand and forearm felt like they were going to fall off.

That's kind of what I was asking. I'd stayed away from any sort of customization before today but I wanted to see what it was like just for fun. Then I figured I may as well try to save my work while I was at it. I thought I'd heard some folks say it's possible to save consistently, just not in certain locations. That is why I was asking.

Also, from what you mentioned, Franklin's Charger holds its alterations? Does one just save it in his garage once finished?

That's one of the primary reasons I can't handle online interaction very well. I can't take turning in the run of a lifetime in a given game only to find out I'm 40,000th best. I have a fragile psyche.

Maybe there is only space for 3 cars in the garages you can buy?
