Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Funny thing is I didn't, got a hooker once early in the game and got a private dance at the strip club once...that's why I was wondering if it was more generic heh-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
My end of game psych evaluation:
Spoiler
EDIT: Okay, reading that I'm not quite sure if it's about me the actual human or me the game character. **** that's eerie.
EDIT2: In lieu of triple posting, which I kind of want to do but won't, I'll ask here.
As I look back at my time with the story, I keep thinking about certain missions.
What was the closest you guys got to hitting that Skip Mission button? Did any of you actually do it?
SpoilerThe one where you have to land the plane inside another plane, man. Honest to god maybe 15 tries. I was ****ing determined not to hit that button, and finally, on what might honestly have been my last try had I failed again, I landed that ****ing plane inside that other ****ing plane. Tiger Woods fist pump.
I didn't skip a mission the whole game, but that's the closest I got.SpoilerI actually got it on my 2nd try..,,not even going to say it was easy but it worked out for me-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I found a website that had a bunch of houses listed for sale so I clicked on "get directions" and the location of the house was put on my map. I traveled there but when I arrived there was no where, at least not that I could find, to be able to purchase this home. Are we able to buy other homes in this game? If not, perhaps this is for online gaming.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I love the commercial for Righteous Slaughter 7. It talks about it being "pretty much the same as the last one," and another ad says that Righteous Slaughter 6 came out 3 months earlier. Hilarious.Comment

Has anyone actually confirmed this? I've heard conflicting opinions on this as to whether it actually causes stocks to rise or fall.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
SpoilerExactly this, if you flew remotely close enough to the rear ramp, it just cuts right to a cutscene. I just flew right at the back full speed.
Mission spoiler not sure how far you are, but it involves the Chinese
One mission I almost skipped was when Michael goes back to north Yankton. All you had was a pistol with a bunch of guys coming at you. I'm an awful shot in this game and I refuse to use aim assistance.

I haven't tried it. To answer your question about the properties. No, you can't buy them. What they are for is for you to discover.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Finally picked this up and played about 5 hours last night. It's very well done, but so far, it's pretty much Grand Theft Auto to me, in other words, nothing ground breaking or earth shattering. The story and characters are very good, but the gameplay seems same-old to me, at least to this point. Don't know what I was expecting to be honest. Way too many driving missions for my taste, and driving and shooting at the same time is a nightmare to control, at least for me.
It's a AAA title to be sure, and a fine addition to my collection and should tide me over until the PS4 drops. But to be honest, I was re-playing Red Dead Redemption before I picked GTA V up and I prefer RDR. I just prefer the setting, the simpler gameplay and definitely prefer the handling of horses over cars.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

However, once I chilled out from the primary storyline early on and just began wandering about, things seemed to become more and more awesome. It's still GTA, but it's on a scale we've never seen. If the cars are a little rough right now (one tends to warm up to the handling) I'd suggest finding some other forms of transportation to try on for size. They each seem to offer their own experience. And I say you should Red Dead it a little bit and go exploring up north. Interesting things pop up everywhere.Comment
