Switched to Trevor and woke up in the middle of a farm wearing scuba gear, the next time I switched to him he was passed out on a beach in his underwear with 6 dead people around him.

Side note anyone else riding the Bawsaq with HAL and PIS?

I would suggest for those of you that have 20+ million invest AT LEAST 20 million in PIS. The payout will be mammoth I invested 29 million and my return is already 80 million.

Anyone know what time the servers are going live on Tues? Midnight or during the day? Whenever it is, I'm guessing there will be a patch to accompany it.

Apart from the driving school and RC planes in SA and one or two missions in GTA4, the series has never really been difficult within the main storyline missions. Arbitrary or not, the extra objectives are fun to me to try and complete.

I didn't say you said the whole game was a disappointment. You said it was too easy and a way to make it more difficult was pointed out that you didn't want to take part in.

Did you play with aim assist? If so then I advise you play with free aim if you want more difficulty. How about turning off the entire hud. There are ways to make the game more difficult if that's your only complaint.

Here's the thing I always see - "Turn auto aim off to make it difficult, etc." Turning auto-aim off doesn't make it difficult, it makes it frustrating to play a game with downright terrible shooting mechanics.

All the R* open world games have had the same terrible mechanics. The only reason it's not mentioned ever is because the auto-aim is there. Again, an arbitrary difficulty level instead of making challenging missions being suggested.

Most of those challenges are typically easy anyway. The only difficulty is trying to perfect controls with terrible gameplay response.

game isnt meant to be hard its not a puzzle game and no Rockstar game has ever been a challenge if looking for that in this series then you will always be disappointed

Without changing game mechanics or setting constraints how do you change difficulty? The typical make enemies have armor and more health or simply increasing their numbers. I think that's boring too.

I'd rather have to finish under a certain time or not be detected or whatever.

                      Re: Grand Theft Auto V

Playing with lock on would just turn the shooting into a complete snooze fest and make it too way too easy, taking any kind of challenge away. Yea, the free aim shooting isn't AMAZING, but it's def more than serviceable & a step up from GTA 4. It feels more like Read Dead to me.

The only major complaints I have with this game is...

                      No custom soundtracks

                      and

There should be an option to remove the enemy red dots from the radar when on foot/firefights. I know you pretty much need them for the driving, escort, chase type missions, otherwise they'd prob be annoying as hell, but seeing all those red dots reveal the enemy positions in firefights takes alot of the fun and intensity away for me.

This game could use a Playthrough 2.0 option like Borderlands.

Beat it once, get to keep all your stats and money, and start the story over again with tougher enemies.

I don't think you can really enhance the difficulty in a way that doesn't feel cheap without tightening up the gameplay. Sleeping Dogs really nailed the mechanics down for me. GTA feels stiff most of the time.

Another topic, but I wish you could create your own outfits.

What does tougher enemies mean ? If it's just a HP bloat like Mabster said, that's not a good way to increase difficulty.

I already said a good way to increase the difficulty and it would be easily implemented in a patch. Just give us the option to remove the enemy red dots from the radar. (for the shooting bits)

Try removing the radar completely when you exit your vehicle and are about to engage in a on foot/firefight type mission. COMPLETELY different feel to the game.

Just came across this article when I searched GTA no hud/radar..

I play GTA V without an HUD or radar when I'm not doing missions, and would use only blips on the map (red dots not needed) if I could still get an indication of when I'm close to death. But that goes when you disable the "maps" portion.

Map with no blips would have been a much better option to have then the blips with no map option.
