There was a "leaked" release date of November 18, but like all "leaks," take that with a grain of salt. I'd say sometime in November seems like a good bet, though, provided no delays occur.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Last year when V dropped I was coming off knee surgery thr same week. Couldn't have been a better scenario, laid up on the couch for two weeks with that masterpiece.
Only problem was a breezed thru the story and the MP was such a mess connecting and such I traded the game in by November. So I'm absolutely stoked for this to drop again for Ps4. I don't care really about my progress coming over, I'm just looking forward to the experience again. Especially on next Gen it's going to be like the 1st time all over.
Just pray there are no delays and we actually get it before winter.Last edited by Gerg04; 08-20-2014, 11:35 AM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Good point Gerg, I'm resisting playing the 360 version again because I want it to feel fresh again on the PS4.
Next Gen on PS4 is going to be amazing with more traffic and higher rez textures. I will be all over this & if heist are finally included by then!?

Diving back in to this game, going to do a second play through.
I haven't played it in probably 7 or 8 months. Amazed all over again at the depth and detail R* created.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I enjoyed the single player game a lot, but I didn't put much time into the multiplayer at all. I'd like to see improved online character customization in the reboot because it was pretty horrible on 360. If they include a decent amount of heists to do and some good single player DLC, I might give it another shot. I don't really want to play through the regular campaign again because I got my fill the first time.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 08-20-2014, 08:56 PM.Comment

Absolutely agree. I just don't see myself going through the single player again so I need value elsewhere to make a purchase.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
If you've made it this far you may as well hold out. It's really not that far off. The next Gen versions *should* be better in every aspect of what is already a gorgeous game. I say hang on for the home stretch.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
My own personal prediction is that online heists will release simultaneously with the release of the PS4/X1 versions of the game. They delayed heists until the spring at one point, only to make another announcement and delay them indefinitely. I'm making a large assumption that they simply decided to delay "indefinitely" until the new releases because it would build a ton of buzz around the game for the new versions. That is certainly my hope. We have heist rooms in our expensive apartments that do nothing but collect dust.
As for online, it was a ton of fun the first two weeks after the kinks got worked out. Unfortunately, after that very brief honeymoon phase, pretty much the entire OS crew abandoned ship (myself included) because of how uninteresting the online portion was at that time. Survival was the only decent way to earn money (even though hitting the max took an hour or more). Missions were okay, but after one playthrough, there was little incentive to do more. I do wish they'd get rid of shark cards, but it is what it is.
Hopefully with new additions and a better money system, more people will join come the new releases. Ideally it won't go stale as easily, either.Comment

NFL: San Diego Chargers
NHL: Chicago Blackhawks
NBA: Chicago Bulls
