    Re: Grand Theft Auto V

Trying to decide if I'll go PS4 then PC. I still have it on 360. I've owned them all on every generation of platforms they've been on and do think I'd get my money's worth.

I love gta and know I'll have probably hundreds of hours on PC and PS4 just like I do with the 360 version

I tried play GTA IV on 3 or 4 occasions and I just couldn't get past / enjoy the driving in it, which is a big portion of the game. Appreciate the feedback / info.
The driving is night and day. I think the handling may be a little less realistic but it may have been for the benefit of the game. I love driving in GTA V and I am unsure if I could say that for IV (though the open road and varied terrain also plays a role).

I think most aspects of driving are just sharper now which again, may not be as realistic, but for many it's now much more functional. Braking can be more sudden and turning can be more precise. It was actually quite the adjustment but I love it. If you're a real life guy who prefers cars handling similar to reality when you begin driving a little crazy, V might be viewed as a step back. But it sounds like you're a guy who just wants to enjoy video game driving and in that regard, I think V did it right.

Sidenote: The arcade ability to flip your car back over upright and guide it in mid-air plays a huge role in GTA V as well. If that was in other iterations of GTA I can't believe I didn't notice it. But it's another one of those things where it completely divorces you from reality but I like having the option there so I can go plowing through the mountains without much reservation.

I know it was in SA and grew stronger as your skill increases. It was more pronounced than it is in V.

It is one of those weird cases where it would normally take away from the reality of the game, but it feels perfectly normally in GTA V.

I believe the earlier next gen video showed hammerhead sharks as well.

11/18 is too far away, they should've released this on next gen around late Oct.

I really want to play this again on PS4.

BTW went to pre-order this on the PS4 store and couldn't find it...? Maybe I just wasn't seeing it, has anyone else found it to preorder digitally?

I hope there's sharks in multiplayer other than "guardians" that kill you when you go too deep.

Never really went into the water online, so what are the "guardians"?

If you go too far out your helicopter will stop working and crash into the water or your boat will sink and you'll be eaten by sharks

There are sharks closer to shore too though.

I never saw a single one. Me and my friends always road around in submarines too
