I'm okay with the prolonged release date.

I have very little interest in Max Payne 3 (It just doesn't appeal to me like the first game did), but I can understand why they would push it back..

I've been thinking about buying GTA3 for PC and replaying it.

have you seen the latest trailer for it? the visual effects and cinematics one? I had no interest in max pyane at all but I suggest watching it. That one trailer sold me on the game. I pray GTA V uses some of the stuff MP3 is going to use.

That article mentions the Wii U to be out early in 2013 as well. I thought the Wii U was going to come up this fall/winter.

As for GTA V, I'm okay with an early/mid 2013 release, as I already am seeing games that will take up enough gaming time in this fall/winter. (Bioshock Infinite, AC3, Halo 4)

This might be the closest we've had to a concrete release date:

Take-Two Interactive now appears likely to ship Grand Theft Auto V in the March 2013 quarter, rather than in the December quarter, according to Sterne Agree analyst Arvind Bhatia. He points out in a research note that the company has not actually provided any guidance on the release date, and has said only that it expects profits for the March 2013 fiscal year to be over $2 a share. While the company would as a result miss the holiday selling season, Bhatia contends there will be advantages to pushing to release out by a quarter, including a less competitive release calendar and a larger installed hardware base, including the potential launch on the Nintendo Wii U. A later release also will provide more time to polish the game, he writes.
Well, that’s all nice, but a slip is a slip, and investors never want to see that.
TTWO is down 32 cents, or 2%, to $15.59.

For once I am okay with waiting on a GTA game. Not because I thought IV was a disappointment or anything. I actually love 4 and have probably put over 500 hours into it, but because two games called Battlefield 3 and MLB 2k12 came out and I can realistically see myself playing both over the next year.

Rockstar Games co-founder and the co-writer of Grand Theft Auto V, Dan Houser has revealed that Grand Theft Auto V will let players use the same 'crews' they establish and build in Max Payne 3's multiplayer, thanks to Social Club integration.

This likely means everything that comes with being part of a crew in Max Payne 3 will carry over into GTA V. You and your crew members' ongoing vendettas are constantly tracked, so if someone your crew is targeting pops up in a game you're notified so you can plan to exact your revenge and scoop up extra XP as a result. Still bitter about GTA IV's online being so plain customization wise. Loved the online don't get me wrong but, it could be leaps and bounds better than what it currently is.

So it's rumored to be one "Albert De Silva", another unique GTA character.

Nice read anyhow. Great info about the game, I believe most of it are true. It's something. All we need is a confirmation/denial by Rockstar Games.

At this point everything is rumors so take it with a grain of salt but if true I love the fact that Mexican border towns will play a role in the game. It will really give you the Southern California feel. I dont like the fact that you will have to workout to stay fit. I hope that part of the rumor is not true.
