So from the GI article, you'll never see anyone from the PS2 era, its considered another universe/era. You can see GTA4 characters as part if this HD universe.

You can switch between the three characters anytime off mission you wish. And to add on to that, each character is living still when you are not playing as them (meaning when you switch back to someone, they might be doing something else then where you left off).

No snowmobiles, eh? So much for that thought.

But wow, I'm kind of avoiding the reading but just getting the tidbits and looking at some pictures. Sounds too awesome. Scuba-diving is in too!

You can flick off people while driving.

Full golf course you can play on.

Only thing customizable is the characters clothing.

No more having to take women out on dates.

My mouth is hanging open reading this stuff. Loved the bit about grabbing a container of gas, drenching a car, pouring a trail away from the car, whipping out the lighter and sitting back to watch the show.

Yeah, that's disappointing. I loved the many homes you could get in San Andreas.

I can't believe there's not going to be any dating. Seems like such a staple of the series.

Los Santos is bigger than Red Dead, San Andreas and GTA4 combine!

Playing as three different characters during missions sounds awesome! Pulling off a bank robbery controlling with each character having a different roll sounds unreal.

Also love the idea of each character living in different parts of the map. Allowing the player to get a real sense of who each character is as a person. Family life, way of living and the all that.

They did say the driving is improved. The cars stick to the road more and claimed to be able to add more physics to the vehicles.

The shooting has been improved but did not go into much detail, same thing for the melee combat.

One of my favorite parts, as a fan of heist movies, is that the team has made heists a bigger part of the game and the article said they worked on a huge bank job (they said they never felt they created a great bank robbery and wanted to get that in for V)

This game is already looking to be unreal.

The fact that they don't consider Three Leaf Clover a good heist mission means whatever they put in this game should be insane.

Other activities include tennis, yoga, jet skiing, base jumping, and triathlons.

I'm most excited about the return of BMX bikes and the golf course. lol

Oh, and we will see characters from GTA4 showing up in the game. No one from the PS2 era.
