Best Buy Gamers Unlocked members receive a $20 Rewards Zone certificate if you preorder Grand Theft Auto there. Something to think about for anyone planning on preordering anyway. The program only costs $15 to sign up for so you're basically joining for free because of the $20 certificate. Plus, you can take advantage of all that comes from joining for the next 12 months.

They're doing the same thing for The Last of Us. Another game that's popular around here.

Just something to consider.

Maybe I will keep my pre-order there then.

Right now you can only get the Collector's Edition through Gamestop. Does anyone know if that is going to change? I'd prefer to get it elsewhere, especially Best Buy if I could. The SE is available on Amazon and Gamestop.

I think i'll just get the regular edition as i'm sure most/all that stuff will be available as DLC.

I haven't bothered with preordering because there are some not quite out of the way but somewhat hidden EB Games locations near where I live so i'm bound to find a copy if I go in early enough.

Apparently, both the Special Edition and Collector's Edition are steelbook versions of the game with slipcovers, whereas the standard version is the regular green (Xbox 360) or regular clear (PS3) plastic cases as well. Not that it's a big deal to me either way, but just hadn't seen it mentioned yet.

The only thing I really want out of the Collector's Edition that doesn't come with the Special Edition would be that Los Santos hat since it reminds me of the San Andreas hat Ryder wore in GTA San Andreas. It's cool that it is an actual New Era cap, but it totally sucks that it's a snap back.

Well, I have three and a half months to decide. Leaning towards Special Edition now, but time will tell.

Just out of curiosity, what is your closest Best Buy? Is it down near San Bruno, or are you actually in the heart of the city?

Wanted to know what close OS'ers are to me.

I live around the Mission Area of SF so the closes BB would be the one on Harrison St.

Gotcha. I'm in San Mateo so that's not me.

Anyway, after hearing that map portion is out, I want to know if it's a leak or not. If it's an official Rockstar release/slip, that's a good thing. I don't think they would release a highly detailed map this early unless there is still a lot more for them to reveal. If it was a leak, that's a bit unfortunate. I know people are going to be talking about it for a while and discussing it (not necessarily in this forum), so I'll be knowing details that I think most would prefer exploring first before knowing.

And judging from that small portion of the map, I think it's safe to say the rest of the map will be ****ing huge.
