Hearts of Iron III

Does anyone else play this? This game has quickly made me addicted to it since I bought it a few weeks ago.

Been a fan of HOI since the first one. 3 is definitely the best as they took out some of the insane micromanagement that bogged the game down at times.

I have the Steam version but mostly played HoI2 Complete just because it ran better on my laptop.

I have a new computer now so I should give HoI3 a go.

Play any of the other Paradox games like Europa Universalis or Victoria? I just saw Victoria 2 is out on Steam soon.

Edit: Nevermind, apparently Victoria 2 is out already.

Nope, I have not looked at any of those games yet. This is the first Paradox game I have owned and really the first war strategy game I've owned since, in the past, my PC sucked too much to play these games, but since I got a new laptop a few months ago, I can finally play these games!

Currently, I'm playing as Turkey and attempting to recreate the Ottoman Empire.

Yes sir! HOI3 is strategy game crack! It should only get better with more patches. There are also some great Mods out. I really enjoyed DiDay's I.C.E. I think EU3 is actually a better game and Vicky 2 is getting a bunch of praise as well.

I'm actually thinking of getting Vicky 2. I have Europa 3 and Hearts of Iron 3. I think I remember hearing that you could bring your saves from the other games? Going from EU-Vicky-HoI would be pretty awesome if that is indeed true.

Also apparently Vicky 2 has the best tutorial Paradox has done.

Paradox just announced 2 new titles based off of HOI 2. I actually think HOI 2 is a better game right now. Eventually HOI 3 will be better once all the bugs are fixed.
