    Ive encountered a bug thats annoying me. Every time I leave a building in Celan after I clear it out, it teleports me to the top left corner of the town, on the wall and I then cant move. I have to use the lantern that teleports me all the way back to Rattferd and walk all the way back.

    Edit: Once I clear the town it wont even let me use the lantern now.

          We're aware of the issue and it is being fixed in the next title update (1.3), which is currently in Apple's hands. This update was approved for expedition by Apple yesterday so you should see it soon.

          The issue arose in version 1.25 rather unexpectedly; we haven't touched that map in ages, and yet somehow this error with parsing of tilemap's entrance layer arose in only that version of the game. :-\

          Regardless of how the error cropped up, look for an update very soon, and I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the game.

          EDIT: for clarity's sake, know that the patch will not break your save game; if your save has you stuck in the top-left corner of Celan after having beaten all three minibosses, the escape lantern will be enabled for use and it should put you right outside of Celan, ready to enter and finish off that town.

            No prob man, Im loving the game. It was just a wtf moment when I was stuck there...lol. I was like Jump, Jump! :P

            Btw, whoever put together that guide to the first chapter is awesome. Its a very detailed one.

              Heads-up, the patch (version 1.31) is now live. You may have to restart your game in order for it to take effect (at least one person has had unconfirmed trouble to that end, not sure if that was an isolated incident or if he didn't receive the patch properly, but I thought I'd at least mention it); however, you should no longer have issues in Celan.

              And thanks for the compliments on the opening guide; I've passed them along to my friend and colleague Dan Magnusson who put that together. If we have time, we'll finish that out. However, I can't guarantee anything to that end as right now is a tremendously busy time for SRRN, which is still effectively a start-up.

                      So I lied, this is the final bump of this thread.

                      Today, SRRN Games (my company) released a rather significant app update to Ash (v. 2.0) that replaces all of the art in the game with original art (which I might add is awesome, though I'm completely biased in this matter ). Previously, we had been licensing art from Enterbrain, Inc. (known for their RPGMaker software) for the vast majority of game artwork. In conjunction with this and the holiday season, the game is on sale for $0.99. Check it out if it suits your fancy!

                      To anyone looking for information with regard to future games from SRRN Games, I should be allowed to divulge new information soon.

                          To be as clear as possible: the game is fully playable on iPad, iPhones with Retina displays, and iPhones without Retina displays, but does not natively support iPad. It uses the "zoom" feature on the iPad to fill the viewport.

                          The games we will release going forward use new tech that allows us to better support the iPad (and other devices as well with a bit of extra doo-jiggering), but we unfortunately didn't have the resources to add proper iPad support into Ash at this time.
