Hey I got the first one installed but the paintery pack in confusing me....

Did you get it working? I installed an older version of it pretty easily I remember. I have noticed from the website though (the Painterly one) that there has been a lot of updates to it. Looks great though!

My adventure last night...No real spoilers as far as recipes are concerned, just a long read.

So, I built this pretty high tower it nearly reaches the clouds. I set up a mining operation nearby. So, I dug pretty deep, and I find a cavern. Throw up some torches to light the area, and I am bum rushed by a creeper. Luckily I hear him in time, and jump, taking only minimal damage. The explosion blew another hole in the ground, and I fell far down and landed in some water (very lucky). I kept digging deeper and found some lava, found some gold and diamonds. Awesome. Found some iron veins, and as I was mining I hear the sound that causes much fear. The bow and arrow of the skeleton. I had a diamond sword on me, as well as a diamond pick axe, tons of coal, iron, gold, and diamonds. And the damn thing killed me. So I had to start over near my tower. I was so pissed I just rushed down the cavern, and somehow the Skeleton was dead. So, I was able to gather up my goods that were still on the ground. So, so lucky.

There's a game on the xbox arcade market place called fortress craft. Reminds me alot of this game.

It was made by a company known for ripping off other game ideas. I don't just mean borrowing the idea either. Just putting a new skin on it and calling it theirs.

Also Deft, i've had that type of situation happen many times. Well besides the falling through a hole into some water part.

I remember reading one of the editors for PC Gamer blog that he ran about Minecraft. Every time he died he would create a new world and try new things. I kind of like that idea and how intense run ins with monsters get when you know if you die that will be it.

There's actually some talk floating around that a mode of that nature will be included in the final game "release" on November 11.

Played my first multiplayer game today. Someone I have on Steam runs a server so I jumped in. It is one of those crazy ones where there are biodomes and castles and stuff. It was crazy!

Okay so I stumbled upon how to make a "Block of Iron." 9 Iron Ignots, filling up a crafting table in other words.

Don't know what the hell it is used for. It looks like a crafting table, but you can't craft anything on it. Anyone know what it is used for?

As far as I can tell, it's only useful for storing iron ingots in a smaller amount of space.

Hey if any of you guys are still playing, I just started a server. Looking for 2-3 ppl to jump on. Right now I'm paying out of pocket for the hosting so don't worry about payment, I just want to find some people to help contribute to the world.

Right now it's Survival Mode with no Plug-ins. Obviously griefing will get you kicked.
