Re: Keep or Trade games?
I don’t play a high volume of games so my games hold more value to me. If I had a real game habit I would A) rent instead of own, B) buy all my games used, or C) sell/trade the games in.
I only have enough attention for one sports game per year. last year it was Madden 10. This year it’s going to be NBA2K11. Next year FIFA or The Show. Since I don’t have a burning desire to own the newest sports game every year I don’t have a need to sell my less than a year old madden every year.Comment

Re: Keep or Trade games?
I trade them in. Although for some reason I still have like 20 ps2 games. I need to throw those away lol. But my 360/ps3 games I keep only until I stop playing it. The thought of "I will play it someday" I realized, for myself, is a lie. I won't. So why keep it?Comment

Re: Keep or Trade games?
I only buy games that I know I'll love and except for the rare times that I've been disappointed or just didn't feel like keeping, I keep every game that I buy. For example, I haven't played The Darkness in over a year but I'll never get rid of it just because of how much I loved it. If it's a trilogy like Mass Effect I won't get rid of any of those, especially since I know that I'll go through them multiple times.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Keep or Trade games?
I'm with Jmood.
I try to GameFly stuff I may not like, and buy the annual sports titles and shooters I'm going to play for a while. I used to trade in to GameStop, when I was younger. I won't even shop there anymore.. except special occasions.
I went in the other day and returned a used game that I had for less then 24 hours, because I picked out the wrong thing for my brother in law. The guy said, "If you keep returning games, the computer is going to deny you future returns, soon." My response was, "This is the first game I've returned in a few months, but since I only got a few left.. I'd be glad to bring back the $300 xbox I bought a few days ago".
It just really rubbed me the wrong way that he took the time to be a douche bag for no reason at all. I'd rather do my business elsewhere.Comment
