Battlefield Bad Company 2. Its being nominated at the Spike Video Game Awards this year for best shooter and best multiplayer. I'm not a halo person or cod person, I think it's fairly obvious that BFBC2 is the best, But thats my personal opinion.Comment

Re: One game to play if you were never to have another game in your lifetime
Obviously the best choice for the situation would be Rock Band 3 or GH Warriors of Rock. Not sure what's going to happen with the DLC exactly with HMX being sold off and GH seemingly only having new DLC work for the newest game which is also the case with RB 3. You'd have something new every week even without having a new game depending how all that stuff works out.
I think going by your original post would be more productive and I'm apprently picky anyway. If you want 3 games you probably didn't give a chance to or look at for upping your collection then:
Deadly Premonition - B-game...kinda like B-movie but in game form so you'll either completely love it or completely hate it but it's only $20.
DeathSmiles - Bullethell shooter, easy to play through, hard to master,it'll last a long time if you want to master it. Also cheaper, believe it's only $40.
Resonance of Fate - RPG with some neat combat ideas. Overlooked due to FFXIII. Saw it for $30 today.
They're horribly niche. Looking at your card it looks like you've barely played anything. If you want more mainstream and recent Castlevania,Mafia II and Alan Wake.Comment

Re: One game to play if you were never to have another game in your lifetime
Mass Effect 2, Tecmo Super Bowl, Final Fantasy VIII, and Super Mario 3 are my favorite video games of all time. Over a lifetime though (at least 50 more years I hope) I would probably get tired of playing all of them. College Hoops 2K8 however, as long as the rosters were updated every year, would keep my interest forever. Therefore, that is the one game I would choose to have for the rest of my life.Comment

This scenario is rather depressing. I suppose I'd choose Metal Gear Solid 4. You would definitely need something with solid replay value.
Others:
Metal Gear Solid 3
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 4
Uncharted 2

Re: One game to play if you were never to have another game in your lifetime
Are we sticking with just this gen of consoles or are we going with anything?
Anyways, mine would be one of the GTA's. Not sure if I'd choose GTA IV or San Andreas though. I'd probably lean more towards San Andreas since that game just had the most ridiculous amount of things you could do.
GTA SA. Best in the series IMO.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

Re: One game to play if you were never to have another game in your lifetime
If on console, a good baseball was be great..one of the Shows maybe. My true love on PC is Company Of Heroes. I could literary play it for the rest of my life.
Oh, I see you said three. My next favorite game on PC is Fallout 3. With all the expansions, you could probably play that game forever. I don't have a gaming rig now, but when I did, after I beat the regular game, I don't believe I even did half the side missions nor discovered any hidden areas.Last edited by ChampN252; 11-23-2010, 03:00 AM.Comment

Re: One game to play if you were never to have another game in your lifetime
Battlefield Bad Company 2 for online if that's allowed.
If not I'd go with a Total War game for the PC, probably Rome modded out.
For sports if I had to have just one, I'd stick with Choops 2K8, still the best dynasty/franchise mode of any console sport game ever.PSN: JISTIC_OS
XBOX LIVE: JISTIC
