Just finished the single player mode.

The story was very good, sucked me in, but the ending was so disappointing and underwhelming. I finished Chapter 7, turned to talk to my roommate who was going up the stairs, turn back to the TV and see the credits ?

Easily the most disappointing ending in these genre of games, imo.

The Homefront team submitted an Xbox 360 title update to Microsoft earlier today. While we do not have an exact date for this update to be approved, we will be working very closely with Microsoft to fully test and deliver this update as quickly as possible.

This title update should address many of the issues our community has identified with the game over the past few weeks. Once Microsoft approves it, we will reveal more specific information about what this update contains.

For anyone interested in this game, there is a multiplayer trial for free on the Xbox Live marketplace. I'm downloading it now, just for the sake of downloading it.

That sucks.

The game was mediocre, but it was a new IP that had an interesting hook. Nothing wrong with B level games, but THQ decided to dump tens of millions into marketing it up as a AAA CoD killer.

Yeah, it's crazy that you can sell 2.6 million units, and still get closed.

That is because nowadays it is all about online traffic. Sure they sold a lot of games but their online traffic is no where near the level of Black Ops.

And for every developer that is the goal, to have online traffic at the level of Black Ops.

The game turned out to be a pretender not a contender. The game had some elements that was interesting but overall it was rather disappointing. Plus the support for the game is not very good with empty lobbies, freezes and the leaderboard is still not fixed on the PS3 version which at this point is ridiculous. Game should have been a budget title because that is what it feels like.

I'm trying my best to enjoy the game for what it is.

I'm trying to at least beat the campaign, but it's becoming a little annoying.

I'm on the mission where you are trying to get the Chopper and it instructs me to be stealthy. He instructs the girl to go do something and I watch her walk right up to the guys and it says I've been detected and failed. The second time, he says walk through the field, then they take the main road and walk right up to them and the same thing happens again. The third time, he tells me to fire when I have a clear shot at the guy on the tower. I get the headshot and then the same thing happens for the third time..

I think the Demo was pretty fun. I didn't have any of the much talked about lag in the games I played.

Crytek UK reigniting Homefront

The sequel to Homefront will be released at some point in the THQ's 2014 fiscal year--which translates as some time between April 2013 and the end of March 2014--according to the publisher. The game, which does not yet have a title, will be developed by Crytek's Nottingham studio, which was known as Free Radical before it was bought up by the German developer best known for the Crysis series and Crytek engine.

Free Radical's most recent game before being annexed was the less-than-stellar Haze, though before that it was best known for the revered Timesplitters series. Details on the game were scarce, save that it wil be powered by "the very latest" CryEngine technology.

The game will be released on "PC and home console platforms," according to THQ.

Don't play 1st person shooters much, but picked this up on XBox 360 for 1200 MS points, which is about $12 (only buy points off eBay and pay $1 for 100). Anyhow, a couple of levels into the game and really enjoying it.

The story is kind of cheezy with North Korea taking over the world. Kim Jong-Il taking over the world? Honestly, Dr. Evil has a better chance. lol Still, story aside, the campaign is well done thus far with a good narrative and clear goals and good directions on how to use weapons and such.

Anyhow, really enjoying it thus far for a $12 pickup.
