I love the Nova charge and other biotic powers of the Vanguard class. I am turning my guy into a tank. I wish I didn't have to have a weapon w/ him and keep his recharge time at 200%. I prefer a shotgun w/ the Vanguard but I don't have one that I like, and I don't have an upgrade to make one liter.

Excuse my ignorance but is this dlc mp only? Do the weapons and abilities carry over to Shepard in single player? We are the music makers...Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
The dlc that was released this week is multiplayer only, the singleplayer dlc comes out next week.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Put this in the wrong forum....

I haven't played the 2nd one though,so I'm going to be picking that one up soon as well. I downloaded the demo for part 2 (just to see a graphics comparison for fun) and to my surprise,it held up pretty good (imo).
I tried the MP in 3,and I don't know if I just don't "get it" yet or what, but I wasn't really all that impressed...it might be better with some friends though,I don't know.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Mass Effect 3
How is the single player DLC for this?
Playing ME1 for the first time and working my way through the rest of the series again and wondering what's worth getting? Does it fit well with the story (like Project Overlord from ME2) or is it more or less just tacked on?Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
$15 bucks is just stupid for story mode DLC. After pre-ordering and price matching I think I only paid $20 for the full game. Just can't pull the trigger for a couple hours of gameplay.Maybe it will go a sale at some point.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Mass Effect 3
The only DLC released for ME3 that I can understand people griping about is the Jahvik one...absolutely should have been a part of the game from day or at least free dlc. Period. He's too integral to the story to have to buy.
The rest? Don't buy them if you think they're too expensive, or not worth it. Plus, how many multiplayer DLC packs did they release for FREE? 4 or 5? Come on now...I think that's pretty generous.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
I just beat ME3 just now. I have no idea why fans were mad at the ending!!!
Like WTF do the angries want? The ending was epic, made you think and brought closure.
ME3 ended up having a few tough choices just like the first game.
It's weird, ME2 had more "places" than 3, but 3's decisions were much more like the first game, where ME2's were more like "good" vs "evil" ... 1 & 3 had much more grey and not so cut and dry.
I still think ME1 was my favourite. It was the most unique and had a bunch of little touches. For example: you can land on more planets, and dependnig on the atmosphere you have to wear a helmet or not, and if you do you can take it off with a dpad press. You could draw weapons and holster them, and sigularity caused debris to move and you could destruct some objects. I found the journal more necessary, and you could engage enemies at great distance if you wanted. Not to mention you could go almost anywhere you wanted and could also drive the MACO.
3 was easily my 2nd favorite and told a great story and really put a stamp on the series.
Overall I'm quite pleased I decided to play it for the past couple of weeks after putting it down for a long time because of playing a bunch of other new released games.
Now I can beat hitman and far cry 3.
edit* I see by my saves that it took me 30 hours and 30min to beat...
edit #2 * WTF am I doing back on the normandy!?!? lolLast edited by allBthere; 03-06-2013, 03:10 AM.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
