Is it just me or does all promotional and FMV versions of Shepard not look at all like the default Shepard? He looks grittier and...more real.

Re: Mass Effect 3
True, those early shots could stand to look a little cleaner. But he was still believable. The default!Shepard looks like he's based off a model and it shows. It borders on uncanny valley. I mean, yeah, you want the hero to be strapping and handsome and all, but he's a soldier not an underwear model. And you can make him as ugly as humanly possibly and he still beds all the lady aliens anyway.
I just wished he looked more like the promotional Shepard by default, not the one they actually use.
Edit: Say, how do y'all think my Harbinger impression is?

Re: Mass Effect 3
I read the GI article yesterday. Sounds like they are bringing back weapon mods and everyone can use any weapon. With the Soldier being the only class that can carry them all at the same time.
Most of the article was just touching the surface of what to expect from the game. Enemy AI will flank and use tactics, the Reapers will be a constant threat in the game, etc. Some other gems in there too. Such as, you need to recruit entire civilizations to fight the Reapers not just individual soldiers.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
Man, can't wait.
The only thing that sucks for me is I switched systems so all that ME data I had on my 360 is meaningless now. Guess I'll have to buy the PS3 version of ME2 sometime soon and go through it again.
I was thinking the same thing.
Same here. There's been times with both games that I just sat there and played it literally all day. It's like it's own Achievement/Trophy just to put the controller down without going through the whole game.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Mass Effect 3
I think the key to beating The Reapers will be that Shepard has to, someway, somehow, get indoctrinated, but completely overcome it. Gain Reaper attributes and powers and fight them with their own tech. And I think it would serve as poetic justice. After all, the Reapers leave bits and pieces of their tech around so civilizations evolve in the direction they want it to, and they've shown to be interested in human biotic potential. Well, what if Shepard takes it to the next level?Comment
