Question for those that have the game. If you import your ME2 character you start at that level correct? How does this actually work in the game? Feel free to put your answer in spoilers in case this is more information than anyone else wants.

You can put this in a spoiler tag since I'm assuming some won't want to know, but does the game start exactly how the demo does? Or is it different/more fleshed out? Maybe it goes into a lot more detail after the "demo" portion ends, or something. Don't explain too much!

I just started so keep the leg kicks

Loving how the game starts off. I will say the graphics on the PS3 look really good. Always have been on the 360 with ME2,

I can't say I've paid much attention to the framerate issue that has been mentioned.

I didn't touch the demo so everything up to this point for me is fresh.

FLIGHT, do you have a save from ME2 or are you starting fresh with ME3?

If you're starting fresh, how does the game handle the decisions that were made in the first two games? Is it still an interactive comic like ME2 has?

Yeah I didn't have a save to carry over and there is no IC like in ME2 to give you a heads up on whats going on. I only got the opening scene completed and then I stopped. Dog tired this evening gotta catch me some

                          Thanks.

So I guess it just goes with default decisions then. That sucks. Looks like I'm gonna have to find time to pick up and beat ME2.

Colin answers... If you're starting fresh in Mass Effect 3, the game does prompt you for certain decisions, including the basics, like where you were born, and for more detailed information, like who lives and who dies in certain situations. The questions are fairly straight-forward and you won't obviously be making every decision in text format that you would have made in the previous two games. Mass Effect 3 makes plenty of assumptions along the way and has a sort of "canon" approach for those who don't import.

                                Re: Mass Effect 3

BioWare has said Mass Effect 3 has a "Previously on Mass Effect" recap video, but have also said people importing will have a much a more personalized and customized experience with 40,000 lines of dialogue that reflects actions taken in the previous games. Some interactions won't even be seen, unless you import, because they tried to make it more friendly to new players. While a lot stuff is left out, the interactive comic on PS3 does a decent job of summarizing the events of ME1 and allows you to make a handful of choices.
