Sentinel is still a lot of fun, especially now that there are no weapon class restrictions. currently rolling with an Assault rifle(M-15 Vindicator) and a Sub-Machine gun(M-4 Suriken). still have the full power recharge bonus.

Tech armor is a little different, the shield explosion is manual now instead of automatic, which is not really a bad thing to me. Warp + Overload still awesome. Lift Grenade is interesting, but haven't used it much(I always seem to miss the enemies). and of course throw is always nice and provides some fun by throwing people off cliffs or out of combat area.

I guess I'll have to stop visiting this thread now that the game is out and I decided to hold on getting the game, you'll make me wanna break my promise of waiting for all the DLC.

            Re: Mass Effect 3

Just encountered a bug of sorts. Pretty silly and frustrating. I was in the Citadel and there were two Turians talking. I walk up to them to listen to what they were saying. A third Turian then just walks up behind me and "blocks" me in. I couldn't move or do anything but spin in a circle. After several minutes of seeing if he would walk away I gave up and turned the game off. Needed a break anyway.

So, beware of getting boxed into a corner by immovable Turians people!!!

Speaking of plastic, the N7 editions only have a sticker right? I thought it was odd there wasn't any plastic wrapping around it.

I really like the Amalur armor, do not like the Amalur assault rifle.

and....GARRUS....so glad he survived my ME2 experience (didn't think this was a spoiler, sorry if it is)

                        Re: Mass Effect 3

I got it at midnight, played it about 3 and a half hours before I gave into sleep...

But those 3 hours or so...dear GOD.

Better than ME2 already. And it's not even really close. I love EVERYTHING about it.

I'm not spoiling anything specific. So don't be afraid to read this.

-The aesthetics of the game are just spot on. The color palette was changed and everything looks cleaner, shinier. More future-space punk style. The textures just pop, even the bland low res ones thanks to the brighter colors.

-The sound design is just excellent. Great music. It sounds a lil' more like a movie now, which fits because the overall appeal is a LOT more cinematic. The voice acting, even Meer, sounds great. Guns have great THUMP to them, each biotic and tech power has their own lil' audio hits and it really cues me in to whenever my teammates deploy a power.

-The story has been solid so far. I like some of the choices they made by adding a certain sequence here and there that transfers so seamlessly from your control and back in to it. A few hitches to sound and graphics, but in a game so big, it's to be expected.

--One moment in particular that involves a hospital stands out. And it actually is making me reconsider my current romantic interest a little. Done on purpose I'm sure. BioWare you clever dogs.

-Gameplay is smooth, tense, and plain ol' fun. The enemies press you. You can't just hang in one spot without getting your butt flanked. I hate the riot shield guys. But I'm actually timing my sniper shots to take our their feet or hit 'em with Liara's Singularity. Makes short work of them.

...and I'm not even 4 hours in yet.

And now...back to killin' up some Reapers!

I'm scared to pop it in since where I am it's 10:45pm ... if I do that it might be trouble since first starting games like this is the hardest to stop and usually one of the longer sessions. I can play Skyrim now for like an hour and a half or two hours since I'm well into it - I don't know if this is a good idea.

Also...no way in hell I'm barking orders at my TV alone lol. I don't need to feel like an uber nerd. haha

I broke down and started a new game.....

I wasnt prompted to make any choices besides who I saved in ME1

Is that pretty much it, or will I be prompted after this initial part at the beginning? Cause if so, I'll bite the bullet and play with my ME 2 character
