Wow. I guess there are enough people who feel that way since Bioware put the option in there, but personally, I can't fathom playing ME without guiding the awesome dialogue. It's central to the experience IMO.

The story telling in this game is just so crisp. It actually feels like one continuous storyline as opposed to random missions like ME2 did. The cutscenes before and after EVERY mission really helps.

And Javick is the *** **** man.

They went above and beyond in making the crew members feel realistic. They aren't static nodes you go to activate conversations with. They actually move around and do stuff from time to time. During battles there's active chatter. And yeah, those pre battle sequences are really good touches. And there's a much greater organic way different crew behaves in different situations that I'm certain will change. I mean, just having Vega call Shepard something other than Shepard or Commander was a good touch.

Not sure how I feel about what they did with EDI. I know I've taken her on the fewest missions so far and I miss that floating blue circle thing.

I've taken Vega on the least missions so far. I normally never use a straight up soldier unless they are krogan for some reason. In ME1 after I built up the party, I ditched Ashley and always used Wrex. In ME2 I might have use Zaeed for one mission, but I used Grunt a lot.

I like having tech/biotic guys to go with my vanguard. Sometimes I don't even have to shoot in battle as a combo of overload, singularity, and my double biotic throw tears through the Cerberus guys.

The most impressive part of the game to me so far has been the sense of scope you get in battles. It's one thing to be fighting husks on a moon, but then when you look off in the distance and see giant reapers just laying into a planet it really looks amazing.

I've played for ten hours and really haven't done anything. I did the first main mission and the DLC, but after that it's walking around, talking, and being bogged down with little things at the Citadel. I know most of the time has been listening to the conversations as opposed to rapidly reading and hustling through them, so I don't mind.
