Still no news on the ETA for the ending "clarification"? I've been itching to start a playthrough of all three and really wished something was announced around E3.

This reddit guy is 2/2 when it comes to leaking the multiplayer DLC, I don't see any reason to disbelieve him now. No firm ETA but the DLC dropped about a month after his first couple "leaks" (I put that in quotations because I think it's BW/EA that is purposefully putting the info out there to get interest built).

How much do I have to play online to get the top ending (which will still piss me off, I know...but no spoilers, I've avoided them so far)?

My readiness is 50%, so even though I'm doing everything I can, it'll chop everything in half...does it take forever to get a better percentage online? Really annoying that a game forces me to play online in order to get the best ending, when I've spent 3 games doing everything I pretty much can in single player.

You need 4000 EMS if you do it right or 5000 if you don't. I think a readiness of 60-65% should do.

I can't believe they still have fixed that after lying about it pre-release. Just looked it up and it won't be fixed until the patch after the next one. Could've got a successful false advertisement claim off of this.

Getting the readiness up isn't too tough online. I played about 8 MP sessions, they last about 20-30 minutes over a couple days span before the next to last mission:

That was plenty to get my EMS well over 5000. I did everything there was to do in the single player game before that point. Also a easy way to build your EMS up is the Datapad app on the iPhone/iPad if you have one of those. It's a free app that you sign into your EA account with, then queue up these missions that last an hour or so. You check back after the time has elapsed and collect a 1% more of readiness.

Awesome, thanks! I can deal with a couple hours of MP then...I forget exactly where I'm at point wise, but when you cut it by half it hurts...if I can get it to 65% or something I should be around 4000 or 5000...

I figured it'd take a lot longer in MP (which I'm sure is fun, I just don't have time to dedicate myself to online gaming anymore)...I usually game in half hour to hour segments nowadays (planning a wedding lol) so I'm lucky when I have time

It it weird that I really have no interest in the extended cut? Even if its free I'm not excited at all to watch some extra cutscenes. I wonder if Bioware would have been better off just leaving the ending as is. The outrage over the ending has died down, but this DLC is likely going to get everyone up in arms again when it doesn't end the way they wanted.

I just started playing the game for the first time last night. When the DLC comes out will it be incorporated into my current game or will I have to start over to get the new ending?
