    Re: Steam massive Xmas sale

I'm hoping that before January 2nd they offer bigger discounts on Crysis and Batman: AA GOTY even though they're already on sale for a good price.

Maybe Warhammer 40K DoW II as well.

EDIT: And Steam comes through like a ****ing champ. Arkham Asylum for $7.50.

          Red Faction for $2.50?

I can see how today would be great for some people, but I already own Dragon Age and would rather rent AA on a console.

I've read stories of terrible quality with the PC version, so I passed. Hope it works out for you.

And A couple more good ones today. I got Red Faction Guerrilla for 4.99 and Tropico 3 Gold edition for 6 bucks. Nothing like a good Fascist dictator simulator for the Holidays.

Batman looks so much better on the PC tho. And runs so well. The U3 engine on the PC is a champ. And you can use a PS3 or 360 controller with it.

Yup, I bought one of those Afterglow controllers for $20 at best buy on Thursday for situations like Arkham Asylum.

                      Re: Steam massive Xmas sale

I have AA for both PS3 and PC. The PC version definitely looks better provided your system can handle the PhysX and all that. Plug in a controller and it's a thing of beauty.

Kinda wishing I held off on getting Dragon Age Ultimate. I bought it around Thanksgiving for $24.97 on Impulse. I hadn't even gotten to any of the stuff beyond the original game yet. Would be nice to have everything on Steam.

Hmmm...should I be fiscally irresponsible and just buy it again on Steam? I like the idea of just having one of these gaming services on my computer. I already had three with Steam, Impulse and Games for Windows Live (when I bought Deus Ex). Luckily Deus Ex popped up on Steam's sales, so I got rid of GFWL.

Yeah, I already have Tropico 3 so I might as well grab the DLC/Expansion.

I do that a lot. I bought The Witcher Enhanced Edition in the box last year for $20. Then repurchased it on Steam last week for $5.

I like having everything on Steam now. So I do not buy boxed PC games anymore. I like the convenience.

Thought NBA2k11 might be a daily deal since today is like the NBA's showcase day...the second I buy it at 33% off it will show up either 50 or 75

AA at 7.50 even though I wont have the graphics card to handle it right for another month? tempting

Look up Idolninja's page for the Gentlemen of the Row mod, there's a version that comes with 360 controller displays.

Buy the whole 2K pack? That's like 6 free games.

So I've been looking at these games, longing for a possibility to actually play most of them well. My desktop is an absolute monster in every category except GPU, so what kind of graphics card do you guys have?
