If Wesker really is back, this game better be a reboot and not a continuation of RE5's events.

Wesker has died enough times already.

I loved RE4 and RE5. However, I do hope the series returns to darker and creepier settings with a single-player campaign. It needs more scares and "Oh $@#%, I'm out of ammo" moments, which can only be accomplished by single-player.

Multiplayer is a whole different story. Capcom needs to rethink their online modes. Slayer and Survivors are just plain terrible. Getting shot by other players while trying to chain a zombie-death combo is unbelievably frustrating. I'd make the online component some co-op challenge levels and just leave it at that. RE doesn't need deathmatch modes, and the control setup is just not conducive for user vs. user shootouts.

Couldn't agree more.
RE went from a slow-plodding, scary-as_crap mystery, to a giant mess.
It completely sucked me into the story. From finding dead bodies, to figuring out clues, I was ALL-IN.
As the series aged, it got weirder and messier with each release. Every game had crazier bosses, confusing plot-lines and strange creatures that weren't really scary, just bizarre.

I hope they reboot and I hope they keep it simple.
Hearing feet slowly shuffling from far off was way more intense than battling a 20' sea creature with an Uzi.

Try to capture what the first game did. I'd even be up for a '28 Days Later' type of game.
Make the zombies fast and aggressive.
But get back to the roots where dark alleys, strange sounds, and a deep, understandable mystery drive the game.

Capcom is supposed to be celebrating 15 years of RE franchise the 19th/20th of this month, which is tomorrow and Friday. Hoping we get an announcement of RE6......please let it be a reboot of the franchise bringing back survival horror with some of the gameplay mechanics of RE4/5.

No Hope Left is a blog-style website, similar to the Kijuju one run by Capcom for Resident Evil 5. It coincides with the RE6-China resume rumors from early last year, and Capcom happens to be throwing Resident Evil events in San Francisco on the 19th and in Tokyo on the 20th.

Wesker (that is wesker right?) = MGS4 using Raiden

It looked like some Las Plagas in one scene, hopefully that is not the case.......I've had enough of those dudes. Time to bring back the zombies and this looks like it has plenty of them. From the trailer it looks like there is also a fleshed out cover system, a bit similar to Vanquish in some scenes. I can't wait, one of my most anticipated games this year.
