I guess I am the only one that wanted to beat Leon in the Head with a bat. Hated him in RE4 (Loved the game)and hated him after. Always been a Chris fan myself.

Even made it past Racoon City just so I could have a chance to kill Leon.

          Couldn't take this game.

Traded it in, and was fortunate that the guy gave me my full 60 bucks back. Thank god.

Tomba, from reading that it only sounds like their just adding a co-op partner to
              Spoiler
and a new difficulty called "No Hope Left". It didn't sound like they were fixing anything else from that article.

I just beat Jake's campaign last night so now I just have to finish up Leon's, saved the best for last. Now after having beaten 2 campaign's, I feel like there is no real ending to this game at all. I hope some of the DLC further expands on where this story is going.

My biggest issue with this game is not the camera or some of the gameplay mechanics anymore because you do get used to them. The QTE's are just bad and should never be in a game again. I just do not get what Capcom tried to do here by throwing many different genre's of gameplay. Both Chris's and Jake's felt very similar in terms of gameplay and really the sections could of been split up between Leon and Chris. There are some sections in Jake's that would of fit in to Leon's campaign and same goes with Chris.

Then on to the J'avo's. They are infected with the C-virus and when they are killed its like they transform into bio beasts. The best is then you kill their new form and they transform into something else. Maybe with a reboot they go away from some of the B.O.W. creations.

With my complaining aside, I'm still enjoying the game for what it is. I am a sucker for the Resident Evil franchise and do hope that Capcom finds a way to get this series back to the basics. I know we complain about the bio zombies, j'avo's, etc., but they have been here since the first game in one form or another, except in the first few games they were used sparingly.

I'm still happy with my decision to trade this game in.

It wasn't a RE game. It was a game with an identity crisis that slapped the Resident Evil name on it.

Got my 60 bucks back, picked up Dead Space 1 & 2 (Which is worlds better than this game I might add. Thank you to oneamongthefence for bringing that series to my attention. ) and have 35 dollars to spare.

Just started up Jakes campaign(doing it in the order suggested by one reviewer) And its true. The camera IS too close to the back of your character you're controlling. You get used it and it becomes that old Resident Evil camera problem that has ALWAYS plagued the series even from a top down standpoint way back with RE1 on the last great system Gamecube. There's things I did to make it more playable right of the start. I adjusted camera speed for aiming and camera movement. And I switch up between left and right angling of the character by pressing down on the left thumbstick. Which at times helps you get a better view of the surrounding.

For me Jake is a cool Character. This kind of steampunk inspired civil war nano marine? I guess thats how you can describe him in some degree? Anyway.

Playing the Jake campaign first pretty much somes up the story (though I havent even bothered to get through the encounter in the warehouse yet.

I'm being VERY open minded plus the graphics hark back to RE4 etc quite bit so it doesnt kinda bring back that good nostalgia for me.

We mentioned RE4 alot and we mention the phrase"get back to its roots" but we forget that we had RE4 because Capcom dared to change up the game the way Nintendo did with Metriod etc. It just sadly hasn't clicked for them yet...

If this game's camera wasnt as close I dont think anybody would be complaining, least of all me because the production value of this game is worth the price tag.

4.5 millon sold. The few can complain but many of those will love

Tomba, the more you play man the more you get used to the camera. I hated it at first in the demo, but I have gotten used to it. I just wish the story didn't feel disjointed a bit the way Capcom has presented it. I can't wait to see what kind of DLC their going to offer and I guess the 360 is getting the DLC first which they haven't said what the length of time will be on the timed content.

Is there any point or huge revelation to playing the Ada mission? I thought the Ada thing was after the other campaigns?

Capcom announced the update coming in mid-December will offer camera options. They showed the picture below as an example - top photo is the current camera angle, bottom photo is what you can change it to if you'd like.
