Re: The Witcher 2 (PC for now)

Not having played the first (just bought it yesterday for $5 on GOG) and having a giant backlog (with L.A. Noire and DiRT 3 coming soon) makes it easy for me to wait until the Steam X-mas sale and get it for $20.

The original has 5 endings,I've seen the trailer with the captured girl for this so saw how the story can be changed but have they said how many endings?

That's the thing about buying it online...get it now for a small discount and some cool stuff (including digital art book at GOG.com) or wait a few weeks for a realllllly nice discount...

I was hoping Steam would let us preload Witcher 2.

Dragon Age II dropped to a sales price of $35 pretty quickly.

Got it and will be installing later today! So gameplay videos and more coming later tonight...

I actually re-installed The Witcher 1 a few days ago, and really started getting back into it.

goodness! the graphics and textures in this game are just INSANE! This game is a visual masterpiece! the only complaint i have are that the facial animations could've gotten more attention to...so far they are looking stiff...i know i will complain more about this once LA Noir arrives later on..

i suggest using a gamepad (im using 360) to play this...its far more easier to parry and block with a controller..though choosing spells can be cumbersome..

Thanks for the heads up on that, so it does have controller support this time... The Witcher one gets on my nerve with keyboard and mouse...and using the mouse only option seems limited...

Glad part 2 has controller support...Will be installing in a few...

yeah you will definitely need to use a controller for this one...there are quick time events and button mashing...

one thing i will never ever do is mash keys on a keyboard...
