Its just incentive to play this baby even more.

I really like how the choices are set-up. No good/bad. No "whats in it for me" explanation. Just make a choice and go.

Further than I've gotten, I tend to pick this up once every few months... get to the end of the tutorial where it's suddenly teaching you a dozen moves, devices, spells, etc. and end up quitting shortly after.

I swear Attention Deficit Gaming is a real thing.

Man, this game is tough to learn. I got my *** kicked for an hour just trying to take the ballista at the beginning on normal.

After the prologue its a bit more manageable considering they don't throw you into the fire right off the bat and you can rank up on "creatures" and random notices before plunging through the main quest. If its your first time through and you're having problems completing the prologue I would go through that on easy and then increase the difficulty at the start of Chapter 1.

Plus, a sound strategy is important to the combat.


What the hell is a beehive bomb? I can't find anybody that sells it nor can I find a diagram.

If i finish the game on normal can i take my character thru on my hard playthrough?...or do you start with nothing?

I beat the game last night (Iorveth's path) and I'm pretty much ready to start a new game. I don't really have a knock against this game that they don't seem to be addressing with 3. The characters, story (oh my what a story), and gameplay was just excellent from start to finish. Heck, even the side quests were pretty fun and felt more fulfilling than Skyrim's NPC quests.

And then scene at the end of game. Oh my.

Hands down one of the best games I've played and Geralt of Riveria is a complete badass.

Just got back from the other side of the fog and the Nilfgaardians sailed off. About to go lift the curse (maybe, you never know in this game.

I wasn't able to deceive the Dun Banner wraith. Is that a bad thing in any way, or no?

Fantastic game so far. Something about it just seems better than what I saw when I watched an Elder Scrolls game, or something like KoA.

I've also gotten much better at combat. Still can get into some bad situations at time, but my dodging has gotten better. Still need to upgrade it though.
