I still have had the most fun with MW1. It was straight-forward, actually felt like a level playing field across the board, and overall I've enjoyed the maps a lot more than anything that has come out since.

I enjoyed World at War the best. Black Ops would be a close second.

The games have steadily got worse imo (but with BO being an improvement of the shambles that was MW2). I'm fed up with this series now, it's gone stale on me. BF3 and GoW3 will be keep me occupied this year/next year, can't see me picking up MW3 unless I see any major improvements.

I loved MW2. You never had to aim down your sights or even shoot a gun and stll have a good k/d ratio.

I'm ready to have my head on a platter for this one, but Modern Warfare 2 was the 2nd best Call of Duty in the series.. Call of Duty 4 was easily the best, no question, but if you tweak Modern Warfare 2 just a little bit you have an amazing game. Tone down the explosives and take out Stopping Power, One Man Army, Danger Close, and Commando.. Done, perfect game. Stopping Power makes the game stale to me so that's why I like it out of the game. Also, if you need Stopping Power, add Juggernaut.. Every perk needs another perk to counter it, that's what makes Ghost so annoying because the only counter is an 8-killstreak which is difficult for the majority of players.. I'm a 2.0 k/d player so it's not really an issue most of the time, but it's still annoying. I think MW3 can easily be the best Call of Duty off all-time if it's like Modern Warfare 2 with some adjustments. It sounds great already, I'm excited.

The best counter for ghost is your eyeballs.

And ghost IS the counter to UAV's being so easy to get.
