Yeah I try not to even pay attention to a new COD until about that time but that damned leak has me all excited.

The whole MW story line is just so absurd it detracts from the game for me. So at this point we have Russia Invading the US because, well it really makes no sense as there is no point for Russia to invade the US. We have the British SAS setting off a nuke near DC because that will cripple the Russians, well ok. Then we have a American General kill British SAS guys because he wants all the glory. Seriously, who ever wrote this story must have mailed it in cuz frankly, it sucks.

I know what they did, IW had all these cool ideas so they wrote the story around these Michael Bay scenes. Oh well, Im a sucker for a good FPS so ill prolly buy it.

I think they're doing it because of the craze that was Homefront's single player story in my opinion.

I blame red Dawn. When you think about it, there is very little reason to Attack the US Mainland(unless you are talking about nukes) and even less reason to occupy the US mainland.

I just dont get why they go the realistic route and have a Invasion on Hawaii, that would be pretty cool.

Yeah well it'll be interesting how they even start these events, ending of MW2 didn't exactly say "US is going to be invaded" only thing we knew Makarov was loose.

Anybody else get the pre-order poster from Gamestop? I just pre-ordered to get the poster but will probably switch that to NCAA.

Yup they call the stores EB Games, even though the website is gamestop.ca.

I'll have to check it out tomorrow, I definitely would love to have this to go on my poster wall with all my hockey and video game posters.

Modern Warfare 3 premiere event set for May 23


Although I have stated that this will probably be the first Call of Duty since COD3 that I won't purchase, the campaign does get me excited. I will probably rent it to play that portion of the game.

I did catch the MW3 premiere event for tomorrow & sure that it's going to be the same as MW2. I'll rent it to see if it's good or not.
