I love COD 4 , MW2, and Black ops. They all did things different on the multiplayer side, so I enjoy the fact that I have to adjust to each.

They all had certain things that were over done.

COD4 had perks with 3 frags , 3 special grenades, martydom, Juggernaut, and last stand.

MW2 had one man army, grenade launchers galore, multiple aircrafts in the sky, last stand.

Black ops just has last stand. Nothing else is overdone. One one aircraft in the air. No crazy over done perks. Maps that camping is not that easy to accomplish.

I love them all, but I feel black ops was the most balanced of the 3.

Now MW3 is coming upon us , and I hope they continue to keep the multiplayer balanced and strategic.

While I agree with you about the balancing, there are plenty of campers on Black ops and I didnt like the looks, sound effects and general feel of the game ... then again, as is more fresh than MW2 at this point, I play it more ... I really hope is more like MW2 in all aspects except that more balanced, improved visuals and sounds, better and more gadgets, features, destructible things and multiplayer options.

I hope it is more like COD4 in terms of maps. I hate campers. Ruins the game for me. Can't wait to see more information on it. I want to see the perks. Personally, they should get rid of the perks.

Has anyone carefully looked at the reveal trailer?

It looks like the EXACT same mechanics and graphics as the past 2 Modern Warfares. I'm afraid nothing will be new with this game...I hope I'm wrong.

There has been a campaign demo played at the MS E3 conference the past couple of years. I would expect the same for MW3 this year.

But I agree that Black Ops is the most balanced of them so far.

Yeah Marathon and Lightweight basically made people superman in MW2. Treyarch did a good job of toning them down without making them useless.

But I agree that Black Ops is the most balanced of them so far.

You touched on something right here that I really hope they re do.

I hate the way stabbing is implemented in this game. It should be used more as a stealth kill, not as a option in a gun fight.

I say if your being shot you can not attempt a stab. That by deafult should be disabled, and they only way to execute a knife kill is when you not being shot. To be more specific I mean when your being hit by gun fire.

I would also love to see a option that ask you for a stealh kill, so when you creep up on someone you select stealth kill, and animation kicks in where you see your character slice the throat of your victim, or peform a take down and strike the knife into his chest.

They can do alot with the knifing, and also implement it more realistic.

They should have a realistic stabbing animation in the game where you actually bring the knife up and them thrust it into your enemy (see Battlefield's knife animation). I think that would eliminate the whole run through bullets and knife people thing that happens.
