My K/D is a 1.68, i don't really sweat about it at all, nor does i let it affect my gameplay. I noticed from playing Black Ops about a year ago that i worried about my K/D a bit too much, and that took a tole on my playing.

Just play to have fun, and at the same time, play competitively. Right now i'm second prestige, level 27. My goal this year is to make it to 10th prestige. Though i can't really find the time to play MW3 all day considering i have other games to play. I just started playing Skyrim, and that's an amazing game.

The class that gives me about 20-30 kills each game -

MP7 - Rapid Fire, Range.
MP9
Semtex
Flash Grenade
Slight Of Hand
Quickdraw Pro
Marksman
Strike Package

I usually play Kill Confirmed when my friends aren't on, domination when I'm with my clan.

So you use the same three perks on all of your classes?

The same two perks: assassin and blind eye. I use marksman, stalker, or the silent perk for the 3rd perk

Thats why I love Barebones, no killstreaks so you dont feel obligated to use assassin and Blind eye.

Barebones is the only way I play now, killstreaks piss me off too much.


What sniper set up would you guys recommend?

It's those damned helicopters. Whenver I call in air support, it's get's javelined in like two seconds flat, but the other team always has like a hind and an ah-6 overwatch buzzing around the whole match.

How is your connection in barebones? I never see a lot of people playing it, i might give it a try.

In barebones? Hmmm, I use:

My main class I have been running around with now has been:
AS50 w/ Kick and Extended Mags
FMG w/ Akimbo
Frag/Flash
Slight of Hand
Quickdraw
Stalker

I do very well with this class and been getting really good at quick scoping. Also anyone else tired of some of the Quickscopers who use the Mod on thier controller?

I try to use all of the perks. It keeps things fresh and fun for me. I don't use steady aim and scavenger that much. I have been very successful lately with the acr with silencer, extended mags. akimbo fmg9s... Can't beat em... Join them
Extreme conditioning pro, assassin pro, and dead silence pro. U can't see me and u can't hear me and I am fast lol.

I really like the portable radar too! I win most of my gunfights when I can anticipate the enemy. It helps with camp confirmed with campers stalking the dog tags. I am thinking of bringing this or the mp7 to my next prestige.

On a side note... Last Friday I jumped on to play around 12pm and it was very frustrating to say the least!!!! I ran into lobbies of really good players. I got worked! I had to try again when it got dark lol

Barebones is fun. It's nice not having to worry about killstreaks and that way I can use different perks and it's more about guns.

Raped like usual. Never knew that you could separate stats between weekly and monthly. Pretty nifty little feature.

Really getting old and has been, same with MW2, that got old in about 2 weeks, why cant we go back in time when COD4 was the sh!t and no one was hacking it, and people played? Best online game i've ever played, and never got boring.

Idk if this is the reason, but since the economy sucks so hard, video game budgets have been getting hit. I usually never see gains in overall sales when each month rolls around. Then again I'm only going off what GameSpot posts in articles.

I used the specialist kill streaks for a few matches and wasn't really feeling it. I carried over the assassin perk from a previous prestige and unlocked blind eye.

I just can't play without blind eye and assassin.

same here, but once I started getting the Special bonus, it becomes very hard to take you down, and most MOAB's we get are becuase we use the Speacialist streak.

When you tried it did you get the specialist bonus? You have every perk working for you and you become a beast. It's pretty fun

I hate how Scavenger was nerfed so much from MW2 to MW3, all I get is ammo for my primary from the blue packages. Back in MW2 I was getting my grenades back and ammo for my Javelin so I can take out multiple Air Units... Now I have to find someone to kill me so I can get more ammo to take those beasts out of the sky...

I agree with you about more ammo for your javelin, but at the same time this would mean more ammo for launchers, and we would have MW2 all over again where gamers are just noob tubing all the time.

I actaully like the fact that it is just for ammo. I also wish that flash bangs and concussion grenades were only 1 per stock instead of 2.

The "Can't beat them then join them" quote is right on. I started running around with the AA12 Shotgun. Now its not the striker, but it can be a pain in the tail. Now once I unlock the range proficiency for it. Im really going to be annoying.

I will pull it out once I see them running around with a shotgun being a pain.
