I don't understand why they care about people playing online early. So long as their copy is legit and not stolen. But because of these stolen discs in Cali. This is making it harder on the other people who bought their copy legit early. But oh well I'm getting mine on the release date anyway. So I have nothing to worry about.

yeah it looks EXACTLY like Crash from part 4.

ill still pick it up though. im just a big COD fan. i have tried almost every major online shooter that has come out in the past year and a half and i dont enjoy any of them as much as COD.

I had to face this reality as well. I just didn't have as much fun playing the other games.

Sounds just like a good friend of mine. No matter how great the other shooters may be, COD/MW is his goto game.

That's why I haven't gotten BF3. I'm just afraid I'll get it, then put it to the side after MW3 comes out.

I'm not surprised this looks a lot like previous COD games. Just give me new maps, some new weapons, new options, and fix problems from previous installments and I'm happy. I'm also in the group where COD is my goto FPS. It's like MLB the Show for me, I know every November I'm going to pick up the new COD game.

BF3 is a good game but I know I'll get more enjoyment and replay out of MW3 so thats why I'm going to trade it in. I knew I shouldn't of picked up BF3, but I have no self-control so I did.

I honestly think you can't go after anybody with a retail copy of the game. I feel there are tons of people with a modded copy of the game those the people that didn't pay a cent to get it those are the people you should go after and MS has the resources to get those people.

exactly I never been worried when it comes to getting games early because I know I always had a retail copy. When my game comes in today im jumping right online. The only people they can go after is people with bootleg copies.........Hey for all the people that got it early on xbox360 im going to make a thread for yall to drop your gamertag in so we can get some games in this weekend.

Bingo, that would deter 99% of people who buy games early. Because lets be honest here, only reason people buy FPS early is just to play online for they can learn the maps before everybody else.

Also most people don't even TOUCH the single player in FPS games. So therefore if they can't get online with it, they won't even bother buying the game early, there is no incentive for them.

I mean seriously I know people who never beat a Halo game, never beat a Gears of War game, or COD game but yet they bought all of them before release day but never played the single player.

I would consider something like BF3 but...I cannot stand launching and a continual mirrage of air/ground support which seems like BF3. It seems there's a huge dependancy on your teammates which I don't like as a lot of times, I get grouped with morons (I play at odd times b/c of my work) so I don't want that to affect my stats.

Frankly, the AI support is what concerns me a tad around MW3; the devs have stated that they want to make the game focused on gun-on-gun gameplay but there's 100 pointstreaks (hyperbole, I know...but you get my drift).

A lot of folks didn't like BLops but I enjoy it as there isn't a lot of air support continually nor spam/launching. I do like the fact MW3 rewards players who play the objective but there seems to be "too much" of a reward. Of course, that's preliminary as all I've seen are videos and commentaries so hopefully those thoughts will be removed once playing.

I don't think the Killstreaks will effect the game that much. Even though you can die and still build points towards your Killstreaks with the Support Package.. the actual Killstreaks in the Support package aren't as Lethal as the ones in the Assault and are more team based, and you'll only be able to earn them once.

Most of the lethal Killstreaks in Mw2 were fairly easy to Shoot down, Chopper, Harrier could be downed in 1 stinger Missile, AC130 was the only one that took some real effort and still was only 3 Stingers. So I Imagine it should not be too difficult to get rid of MW3 Killstreaks.

My thought on this game is that it's MW2, with out the OMA, Danger Close, Commando. (stuff that ruined the game) Some new maps, few new guns and guns revived from Cod4. So as a fan of previous CODs I will definitely be taking a look into this.

Overall that is actually not true. Most people who buy these games actually never touch the MP. But it probably is true about the people who get the game early.
