I think it forces more close combat in order to grab the tags after you have killed someone, but that isnt a bad thing imo. You wont get too many kill confirms by sitting back and sniping.

Can anyone tell me what level you need to be in order to unlock the Hardcore game modes? I can't find it anywhere. The previous titles were around level 20 or so.

The one thing COD games provide me where others can't is a quick, in and out shooter experience.

That's what I love about COD series. It's a quick, fast paced, fun shooter.

Compare? They are both first person with modern weapons.

Both have humans on both sides.

Both deal with basically a world war.

After that...they differ...a lot.

That's what I love about COD series. It's a quick, fast paced, fun shooter.

That's the main reason I like it and think I might break down today and buy it (I know ). It's easy to just jump in and out of games and usually have a good time. With my gaming time not being as much as it has been in the past, that's big for me.

Yep, with kids and lack of time, it's great to hop in, play 15 mins and hop out, all while completing 2 games.

How does this game compare to Battlefield?

Battlefield is more cerebral. You really need to take your time and strategize properly as opposed to running around like a chicken with your head cut off.

Battlefield also rewards teamwork as opposed to high kill counts. You'll also find far less glitchers/hackers and general douchebaggery in Battlefield.

COD is a faster paced game that generally relies on high kill counts to be successful, so it depends on your play style as to which you prefer.

As for myself, I don't find myself wanting to rip my hair out while playing Battlefield as I do COD, although they offer a better single player experience if that's what you're into.

Love it! Chaos, anarchy. Ran into a a couple matches were the opposing team used teamwork. Watching it from my end was a thing of beauty. MW2 w/o the cheap stuff so far.

That's a matter of opinion.

I find just as many DB's in BF3 as I do COD. The morons who won't drop ammo or med packs. Or the idiot teammates who go off wandering around and never help get the target/flag/etc to help the team. The idiots who snipe all game or sit off the corner dropping mortars all while the team is losing.

Doesn't matter the game, the morons are everywhere.

So I end up pulling my hair out playing both... LOL

Yup - a couple of games in and I am real glad I picked this one up. Can't wait to play with people I actually know.
