I honestly can say Kill Confirmed is my all time favorite game mode.

It basically eliminates Campers since they have to get the tag.

Also I love the way the Grenade launcher set up is, had someone trying to use it all game and couldnt kill anything unless they were hit in the imediate area. I laughed when I watched the Kill Cam and he shoots it at me only to get a hit marker then I proceed to kill him.

Second match I played, the enemy got an osprey gunner from a care package 30 seconds into the round. I hate this game.

There are no 3rd person playlists in Live matchmaking.

but it is a Private Match option.

How so? Its not like he even hits remotely around me to get the kill, its just in other CoD it would of been because of the ridicules range explosives had. I just laugh at the kids trying to get cheap kills with it only to have to aim with it now and actually hit around me.

Have you played it yet? Explosive damage has really been nerfed.

I'm not doing this to flame, but I honest to god see nothing in this game that hasn't been done in the last 2 CoD's.

A new game coming out every year hasn't helped this series either, as an already mediocre game that manages to innovate one year (Modern Warfare) has essentially had make overs of different campaigns and some new (mostly stale and not very fun) maps.

One players opinion though, but if somebody could enlighten me as to any improvements that are actually relevant in the large scheme of things, please let me know.

I'm not sure what type of drastic makeover you were expecting from this series as for the most part we know what to expect from the Call of Duty series. Each installment in the series sets a new record in terms of sales so I doubt the developers would want to drastically deviate from this formula. As far as improvements go, from what I've read and not actually played the game yet, noob tubing has been greatly reduced, a new weapons leveling system has been added, kill confirmed mode has been added which I believe should greatly reduce instances of camping, new killstreak/deathstreak variants, Call of Duty Elite, etc. so I believe they have done enough, in my opinion, to warrant a purchase and address some of the concerns from previous installments.

I see this being similar to a sports title you would purchase. They are not going to change the actual sport mechanic year to year. However, they will prove gameplay, add presentation, update rosters, etc. to make it warrant a purchase year to year.

I thought it had a small radius in Black Ops. Is it even smaller than that?

I just played my first match online. I really love how you can hear the player you just killed right after you kill them. Almost every time I hear, "Oh WTF."

The thing I've always loved about Infinity Ward games is the sounds they use. They've had the same gun switch, running, running on metal, grenade, secondary grenade, etc sounds since Call of Duty 2.

I love it.

well launch day and no issues getting into any type of multi game...I thought alll big titles would have issues on first day.....
