I've been using the Specialist Package system for the time being until I get to lvl80, starting perks are Sleight of Hand, Quick Draw and Steady Aim. Then with the specialist, Assassin, Blind Eye and Extreme Conditioning. When I get scavenger, I'll put that in there, and the systems been working for me.

I've totally switched to the support strike package. Nothing like having UAV, Counter UAV, and Advanced UAV in a game of TDM or Domination!

Having a blast with the multiplayer. Started out really slow but was picking up steam when I got the silencer. The ump is still beastly and I won a lot of gun fights when I unlocked kick. I am a defensive player so I will be happy when I unlock the claymores or bouncing betties. What makes the game so enjoyable is that the support package makes u still feel like u are doing your part even though u are not getting kills! I was able to get the Sam turret and I denied the other team their care package lol! I also got a couple of kills with the decoy air drop. I LOVE the diversity that I am afforded with my particular play style. So much to explore and try out. I think MW3 is by far the best experience that i have had with a first person shooter.

Normally I play through the single player campaign before going online, however this time I only did the first couple missions in SP then jumped in online. What I did play of SP so far was very good, online however I find to be a bit stale. Very poor map design in this game so far, hopefully the upcoming map packs will be much better.

Man, I need to level up to get the Blind eye and Assasin perks with a silencer, as it seems everywhere I turn someone is somewhere shooting at me. The quickscope guys are annoying, but that's a given considering it is COD. All in all I'm enjoying the game, but it does seem there are more people camping then usual, but I attribute that to it still being a new game and everyone is still trying to learn the maps......at least I hope.

My biggest problem with this game is the maps. Me and my friends last night on live were laughing about how they all seem to be two previous cod maps scrambled together to create a smaller map with even more places to hide.

Actually, your probably right. It just seems everytime I come around a corner there is someone their lurking in shadows and my stick-skills aren't good enough sometimes. Either way I still enjoy the game.

I still give this game the GOAT award for the series. Noobtubes and knifing are dialed down. You have to make sacrifices if you want to be off the grid..for example, the pp90 setup I have..I really want Sleight Of Hand, but I get crushed by air support a lot w/out it, so now I just really time out my reloads.

I silenced the G36C last night and that really blew me away. Super accurate and powerful. Only issue is the low rate of fire, but what a fun gun. It just puts people down.

Maybe I like it a lot because I am having success with it, who knows. The perk system just seems so much better, and so do the strike packages. It plays so insanely smooth as well.

I do have a question. I start an Xbox party with my friends and we have blue arrows, but I can't see them vibrate when they talk. I see the green arrows vibrate though. Are we supposed to start a party inside the game or did they just not add the vibration?

When will this franchise peak?' Many asked this after last year's Black Ops defied all odds and outsold a Modern Warfare Call of Duty game (the very reason the series is so big today); a brand within itself. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that Call of Duty has yet again broken industry records, but it's by how much that makes it staggering.

A reported 1.5 million people queued at midnight globally to get their hands on Modern Warfare 3, with a total of 9.3 million copies sold on the first day. The Xbox 360 version sees around a 54% share, meaning it's the first game on one platform to pass 5 million on its first day. The PlayStation 3 version held 42%, which is around the 4 million mark. Both day ones are only slightly behind Black Ops entire first week sales. The PC version and the Wii version held the remaining 4%, which is around 370,000 units.

As a whole, Modern Warfare 3 is up 33% over Black Ops' first day sales, and a whopping 55% up on the previous Modern Warfare. the US and the UK combined account for 7 million, which is just over 75%.

Early data suggests first week sales are on course for around 12 to 13.5 million. With just over 87 million Call of Duty games already sold on home consoles and PC this generation, by the end of this week the Call of Duty franchise will have sold over 100 million games this generation.

9.3 million on the first day? My goodness. I still need to get around to playing multiplayer sometime this weekend. I haven't got around to touching that yet.

I'm enjoying the game for sure, but does anyone else feel that the maps all feel the same?

They dont vary much from eachother.

Activision Hands Out a Free Month to Paying Members of Call of Duty Elite As Outage Continues

Call of Duty Elite remains basically down and out three days after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision said today they will be extending all one-year paid memberships to the service by 30 days to help make up for the outage.

They are also extending the ability to sign up as a "Founder" until the end of the month...
