I also have the fat PS3 and can hear the noise of the disc being read. I havent had any problems but I see some guys are.

Currently unlocking the ACR, seems like a great gun.

I am loving the PP90 and the perk streaks. Basically, after 2 straight kills I get sleight of hand, then scavenger, then marathon. It works with the PP90 rather well because you can get 2 kills with one clip, so your first reload is a fast one.

Also the g36c silenced with no recoil perk is awesome.

Were are all you guys at when im playing...I seem to always finish in the basement...held my own in black ops but man this game has been a big slice of humble pie..I shall keep trying ..I think my problem is I like both games..BF3 ...and they are so different after you play one for awhile its hard to get back in the grove on the other.

I won a 2 on 5 match earlier I think I gained about 5 levels with my UMP.

I unlocked the G36C last night, and I love it. In about 6 or 7 games of hardcore tdm, my ratio for that game mode went from about 1.06 to 1.13 after putting a heartbeat sensor on it. I'm interested in trying the ACR too. I want to find my favorite gun before lvl 80 so I can decide which one I'm keeping when I prestige.

I have no idea how you guys do it, jumping into a new game with new maps and having K/D ratios near 2. I'm playing (on the Wii) and just getting DESTROYED.

Do you guys set some private matches with just yourself running around the maps to get used to things? That was one thing I like about Blops with the Bots Mode (whatever it was called). I just can't get used to where guys are going to pick me off from, so just as I'm getting comfortable with a route zeroing in a guy, I get nailed.

I'm sitting at about a 0.78 K/D ratio right now...starting to get used to the maps and guns. Liking Carbon pretty right now, but also agreeing with some of you on the idea that I've played some of these maps before (Cliffside/Jungle = Village, Carbon feels like Quarry to me a bit, etc.)

A nice change of pace though...

The biggest reason I can think of that people are getting messed up is the spawns. I got my lag problem more or less fixed, but I'm getting destroyed by the spawns. Time and time again I try and recover from a firefight, and the next thing I see is a kill cam of a dude spawning right behind me for an easy kill. I finally got my K/D above one today, I'm so happy... and the Juggernaut Point Streak is probably the most awesome thing in a CoD game ever. It makes me feel like a boss just running helpless people over, and to see them run, oh it's awesome.

Outpost might be the worst COD map ever IMO.

Wetwork owns that spot IMO.

Been using the G36C, and worked it up to get the Silencer + Red Dot.. and have been using it in Search & Destroy to great success. S&D is one of my all time favorite game modes that the COD series brings... Finally unlocked the Dead Silence perk and that has helped greatly. You really get the freedom to move around more, in a quiet game mode such as Search with that one perk.

Kind of peeved that you almost have to use Assassin in Search now because of the return of the dreaded "Heartbeat Sensor"... so many people are using it now in Search that you're at a huge disadvantage if you pop up in it.

Bought Call of Duty Elite tonight and the site actually was up for about an hour.. It's REALLY good, the stats are really in-depth and all of the features actually work. I put together a few classes on my computer and then when I went on the game it gave me a message to confirm the changes then they set by themselves, it was pretty cool. I really only paid for the 1-year subscription for the map packs.

Also, for anyone on the fence about it, today is the last day you can get founder status. What that means is you get all of the really nice features of premium Elite with some in-game add-on's. You get two titles, two emblems, a new camo called winter, and 2 hours of double XP. I actually think the double XP is for free and paid Elite, but you can only get it if you download to Elite app and you manage to sign in which can be hit or miss. It's helping me out a lot right now because I'm rank 77 and I'm trying to prestige tonight/this morning.
