One of the reasons I wanted your guys opinion. We play a lot of team tac. Just last night we absolutely demolished these kids in dom. I don't think they got to 80 points. 3 on 4 mind you because we have a 3 person clan.

But we were switching up our patrol spots, around the flags and at the end they were bitching and moaning because we were camping. Smh. I got a good laugh out of it though.

That's just good strategy. They were bitching and moaning because they lost, and it's not because your team is better but because you're campers.

Bad campers stay in the same spot, so you will get easy kills on them because you know where they are. I flank those guys.

Good campers get a few kills and keep moving after to a new spot. They know good spots on the map.

I would classify myself as a flanker. I like to sneak and shoot. Enjoy winning one on one's as well. I like campers who move..have no respect for losers that lay in 1 on spot all day.

Whats the gun that everyone is akimboing? Seems like you can not lose a 1 on 1 with that setup..it's impossible.

So how much skill is involved running around and spraying bullets with a machine gun. Almost every game of MW3 is running and gunning with zero strategy.

So when the top person gets 20 kills with 18 deaths that is good?

The FMG-9s. Pretty much cheese if you akimbo them. Takes no real skill, just run up and start unloading and chances are you'll win a 1 on 1. Same goes for the dual Skorpions.

The only thing that I found that can counter those and win consistently is the P-90 with rapid fire and quickdraw. I find myself winning about 90% of the face offs against guys with these guns.

Depends on what you're playing. If you have that in Dom and capture like 4 flags and defend a couple times then yeah that's decent, but in TDM, no that's not.

I'm disappointed if I don't get at least 35 kills in dom or 25 in TDM. Like I said my K/D is over 2, so my standards may be a little higher loll

I always found akimbo to be rather annoying, first off you need two buttons to even use it. It's awkward to press the left mouse button and the middle mouse button (my ads button) at the same time. It should of been like F.E.A.R. where you only need to press one button to fire both guns. I could use it for pistols so I can get the tactical knife easier. Other then that I never use it...

yeah 20 kills 18 deaths is a record i'll take normally leaves you at top 3 in points.

as far as camping, camping only works on BAD teams. Its times where i'm communicating through the headset let my teammates know, two ppl check out the area throw 4 flashbangs at the guy and he's done for.

Man demolition and domination are so frustrating when you have horrible teammates. So many games I will have people not even going for the objective, or even in one demolition game I had all my teammates at A while I was at B trying to defend it after A blew up. On the bright side team defender is so hectic and fun, it's one of my favorite game modes.

Man this game was totally unplayable for me tonight. If you get host you have ZERO chance of doing well. The lag compensation just murders you. I've tried everything I can think of to "slow down" my router, but some nights I just get picked as host in every freaking game.

This was confirmed tonight during my little "test". For my first few games I was getting screwed by lag again and again, yet I had 4 bars. The usual fair... almost every death was instant like I had been sniped, the first 3 or 4 rounds from my gun not registering a hit marker, etc. I finally quit a game out of frustration, and low and behold saw the host migrate as I was exiting the game. Just to test it out I went into 5 games in a row of mercenary and backed out just as they were starting. You guessed it... 5 host migrations in a row!!!

UGH... at least I heard Robert Bowling tweeted that they are working on the lag compensation. I'm just about ready to trade this game in and try a different FPS, but I guess I will see if they can get it worked out. The worst part is my internet connection literally just got upgraded in October!

It's really the biggest problem with the game right now, I get host like 75% of the time, and I'm getting destroyed by bs... On a positive note, I love using the riot shield again, just fun to troll people with it. Was in a headquarters match and we won 400 - 0.
