re: Hitman: Absolution
Does anyone else feel like the developers were misleading? Their entire marketing campaign was about how the game is open and lets you complete a mission the way that you want to...and just now we are finding out otherwise...Comment

re: Hitman: Absolution
all along they have been saying it was like the other hitman games.
Ive been waiting like 6 years for this game, and now I find out all this crap about it this past week. it sucks.
I know Im not gonna like it now. Hitman was a unique game, and all these gamer reviews are saying its more linear now.
That is going to totally ruin it for me, and wont last 2 hours in my ps3.Comment

re: Hitman: Absolution
The assassinations don't have the flamboyancy of say Dishonored nor the colorful kills of Blood Money (colors and flamboyancy? Who would have thought I got artsy analytical skills?!) but its still very much a Hitman game.
Just think Contracts with the mood and turn up the violence a notch and thats where I feel this game is. A little more grounded and guided than Blood Money.
And again don't you get turned off, its still a very good game! If you can look past the slight lack of flexibility, it would be amazing.Last edited by ps3veron; 11-16-2012, 08:21 AM.Comment

re: Hitman: Absolution
Folks I just wanna say that I am really sorry for being a constant moaner. I have become a little picky when it comes to games these days and maybe I expect too much but if y'all look at the reviews at the moment, they are all very high. So don't let me deter you from getting this.
Just one final quibble I have to mention, Game Informer is saying that "The levels are sprawling, gorgeous, multifaceted playgrounds to hunt down and kill your targets in, and feature some of the most impressive crowds seen this generation."
That statement is pretty much true (although I still emphasize that the levels are still more "contained" and direct than Blood Money), I don't know why they are saying the crowds are the most impressive?
Truth be told and IMO, the Assassins Creed series has the best crowd (you never see the same face twice), whereas in Absolution you're more than likely to see 2-3 of the same sprites in any given level.
Ok no more moaning, gonna be as positive as I can from now on. Did I tell you folks how good Contracts mode is?!
Oh and read THIShttp://www.gamespot.com/news/hitman-...report-6400150
Looks like the Devs don't seem to happy? Bad PR move I think to release such statements just before the release. At least wait till the public opinion before planting stuff to the masses.Last edited by ps3veron; 11-16-2012, 08:27 AM.Comment

re: Hitman: Absolution
There's no season pass. There's an online pass.
Season pass = paying for numerous ammounts of DLC at once at a discounted price.
Online pass = code needed to use online features.
