Does it matter? Just wondering...

I don't think they allow you to return a game later for another one...and I also don't think they'd let you return one game later either. The stores have caught on the tricks everyone'd use to get free new games.

Just asked at my Best Buy as in was buying 6 games. You can return any of them you want (apparently even the 0 dollar one) for an exchange. This is probably very YMMV.

Hmmmmm, very interesting. I remember in the past people had issues with this, but maybe that was Toys R Us and not Best Buy.

I'm gonna swap Borderlands for Assassin's Creed next week. And if Best Buy won't do it, I'll just take it to Walmart and say I lost my receipt. I've done it a million times there.

A lot of Walmart's are now holding records for this. There is a limit (I think one or two a year) of no receipt returns allowed.

I've never had an issue with Best Buy taking a return from me for this deal. The return goes through as $60 worth of credit. As long as I'm not trying to get money back (which I wouldn't be doing), there are no issues.

Yeah, they take your driver's license. But you can do three no receipt returns every 45 days.

But I'm not worried about Best Buy not doing it. I made sure Borderlands was the first one they scanned just in case it needed to be $60 on the receipt.

Torn on what I should do, the 3 games I want mostly right now would be NBA 2k13, Forza Horizon, and Assassins Creed 3.

So I guess it would make sense to wait for Targets sale next week but being as AC3 doesn't come out until Tuesday I wonder if their selection will be picked over by then.

Guess I could try Best Buy for Forza and 2k with either Resident Evil 6 or Madden but would rather just wait to get those later.

If you would like to extend BB's B2G1 deal through next week, just mention Target's deal (which starts Sunday) and they will price match it.
