Do retailers still sell the Wii console?

I have this itch to play the Mario Galaxy games.

They sell something now called a Wii Mini. I think it's just a Wii without an internet connection.

Or you could buy a WiiU. It's backwards compatible with Wii games.

Here's a link from Nintendo's site that compares the Wii U, Wii and Wii Mini.

The biggest downside to the Wii Mini is no Internet connection, so no access to the eShop. If you're just looking to playing Wii games, though, might not be a bad purchase. The Wii is only $30 more (you could find it used for less, too) and does get you access to the Internet.

                  Thanks for that!

For some reason I have this urge to play the Mario Galaxy games... Think I might pick up the Mini since I'll just be playing the games anyway.

They have had that one on and off for a year. I'd get it, but don't like the thought of having to use a controller for the game, as I won't be buying a wheel.

Little or no collision effects in this series is there? Car always runs fine or am I mistaken about this?

Correct, and can't tell because I don't crash enough. I think your car can disqualify itself or whatever after taking too much damage, but I really don't know.
