Best Buy is having an extra 40% trade-in for games when it's toward a pre-order and it runs until 10/1

I'm thinking of doing it, but I hear trading in store is a huge hassle. Anybody have experience with that?

Best Buy is having an extra 40% trade-in for games when it's toward a pre-order and it runs until 10/1

I'm thinking of doing it, but I hear trading in store is a huge hassle. Anybody have experience with that?

I have been trading more there lately due to better trade in prices. Haven't had too much of an issue, outside of some inexperience of their employees on the process.

best buy is very slow the two times ive traded in games...both times it has taken about 20 minutes by the time i walk to the register until i walk away with my gift card..very annoyingg

This took me over a half hour once. Much better trade in values tahn Gamestop it seems.

The problem with Best Buy is that it's a new process that not everyone is good at. I know how to do it now, so I can get you in and out in maybe 10 minutes. But not everyone has access to trade games in for people (a HUGE problem IMO) so sometimes the issue is finding a person that can. Our trade in values are definitely why I trade in there, but if Gamestop is running a better deal, I just go there. I do like that you can look up your trade in values online though.

That must be the case, I've traded in about 5 games w/Best Buy because they have better prices on the trade-ins and I can use the giftcard for other things besides games. I haven't had any issues on the process and generally am on my way within 10 mins once I get to the counter.
