Yeah highly disappointed in Dell and I've tweeted them and called them to no avail.

So my nephew Dylan will have Call of Duty Advanced warfare, Titanfall, Call of Duty III black ops, Madden 16, Nba2k16, Gears of war ultimate edition and Assassins Creed Unity, EA Access and one year of xbox live with his new machine...

                  Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread

Here is what I wrote to Dell

                  Dear Dell,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I now pen this letter that lies before your very eyes. I am a longtime customer of Dell since the mid 1980's before the computer revolution had even begun. I have bought numerous computers from Dell, both for personal and private use. Throughout the years I have had various experiences with Dell, some have had some issues but most have been of a higher quality. I have recommended Dell to various friends and family who have queried me regarding a potential purchase as I am looked upon as someone in the industry that they can trust. I have always felt quite confident in recommending Dell as a reputable company who makes good products and stands behind them.

                  Until yesterday that is.

It is with great reluctance I admit to believing that Dell purposefully and willfully chose to misled their customer base with a Black Friday sale that was, in fact, a classic bait and switch. This is illegal and I'm shocked to come to this conclusion. However my research and personal experience leads me to no other conclusion and for this I must say that I can no longer in good conscience recommend Dell as a company. In fact, I am re-evaluating my own continued patronage of a company that would choose to partake in such a nefarious scheme just to drive web traffic to their site.

                  It gets worse...

It's one thing for a company to make a mistake. No one is perfect. Perhaps Dell did make a mistake here and it's not a conscious effort to defraud anyone. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that to be the case. The real issue is not that a company makes a mistake but how good, or how bad as the case may be, that company chooses to rectify that mistake. As a longtime customer of Amazon.com I had a similar incident with them while purchasing a console a couple of years ago. I contacted support via chat and was immediately offered a discount and a supplemental free product that was valued at around $60.00 retail.

I am sad to report Dell has also failed me in this respect. Not only did they make a mistake, they refused to work with me, or anyone else that I can see judging from their Twitter feed or Facebook page, and make things right. Instead of offering customers a comparable deal they choose to instead refer us to wait until Cyber Monday as "more deals are coming". Instead of trying to pacify those who are angry over what they perceive to be a dishonest bait and switch we are told to simply wait around and try again.

Where is the attempt to work with those who feel slighted? Where is the customer service and specific attention to the customer? Customer service is not copying and pasting a generic "Sorry but please check back on Monday". That does not cut it in this competitive world. It especially does not cut it when it comes to trying to rectify what many believe to be illegal and shady business products.

I would like to hear from Dell something more than a generic message about waiting for more deals. I would like some personal customer service to make me consider even think about continuing to patronize this company. It's amazing to me that a long term business relationship can be so quickly destroyed in a span of about 48 hours but somehow Dell has managed to do this with not only myself but for many other customers judging from their Facebook page and Twitter feed.

I'm waiting Dell, what are you going to do about this charade? Are you going to prove to the public this was not a bait and switch deal?

Most importantly, why are you still telling people various deals are sold out when they are clearly in stock on your website at the regular price and the sale is still supposedly ongoing?

                  - Signed

With the heaviest of hearts indeed...

I can understand being upset the deal didn't happen or whatever but that all seems to be a bit much.

I've gone beyond that even, I've reported them to a tv station and filled out paperwork with the Texas Attorney General requesting they investigate Dell for deceptive bait and switch

LOL Seriously? I had a bad experience at a restaurant last week and spoke to the manager about it, but nothing was really done. I was mad. But I certainly didn't contact the Attorney General. Some things you just gotta let go.

Now lets get back to talking gaming deals. Let us know if your case gets to the Supreme Court though.

Wow!!! You're just wasting your time and you can easily find as good or perhaps better Xbox One deals than at dell. Seriously, it's dell, they probably had one console bundle and it probably went to an employee and that's it. LOL. Playing whatever games you do have is a far better use of your time.
