    Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread

I use www.cheapassgamer.com to find the best video game deals.

A few months back the site led me to LA Noire pre-ordered for $30.
A few weeks ago I got Crysis 2 new on release date for $20.

They also have a database to find the store that has the best trade in values for your used games.

I love the Gamestop Powerup rewards program as I've had probably 200+ in savings just from the coupons since January. It's well worth it if you do it and get over the "Gamestop sucks" mentality. I've yet had any impolite employees and like I said earlier I've gotten some pretty nice "deals" / perks from the guys/gals here.

Currently I have a total of 35.00 in coupons I haven't used(bought with points) yet. I'm waiting until I get to the 50.00 + stage then I'll grab whatever new game that comes out I want.
wow. That is a lot of savings.

Yep, it's a no brainer to use the program IMO.
If you're going to buy games why not get points that add up.
It's probably not worth it if you only buy a couple games every year but I usually get the games I passed on new as they get to 17.99 etc... Especially during the b2g1 deals. Even if u only get a couple games a year the points still add up I guess.

Both Bioshock games are $5 on Steam and there's a new humble bundle where you pay whatever you want for the games and divide it up between the devs, chairity and website however you'd like. Trine is the only one I've heard of: http://www.humblebundle.com/ The current average is $5.23

Online or in-store? I can't find a link. This would be a great easter present for the kids.

Alot of good games for 19.99 brand new like Fallout 3, Batman, Assasins Creed 2, etc. I know these games were released some time ago but they are still worth a play if you haven't already!

I got DJ Hero 2 and an extra turntable for $40 combine, Arkham Asylum for $20 and for the b2g1 free I picked up toy story 3(for my son), Ratchet and clank(for me) and Sega ultimate collection(for my girl).

One big happy family and i was able to use my rewards points which knocked 25 off the total. So i spent around 70 for 6 games & since they were all on sale my girl said it didn't have to come out of my gaming budget

Yeah it was the SKILL Shot not the Sharp Shooter. It's not nearly as good. Also it's 9.99 with a pre-order.
