LOL I'm not actually going to do it. But if you must know, the BB I go to has a GameStop pretty much right next door (the Jamba Juice is actually literally next door and I'd likely be going there anyway), so it wouldn't be the biggest waste of my time. The real point would be to state my dissatisfaction. I want them to change. We all do. It takes somebody doing something about it to make it happen, though.

Anyway, I'll remember that the next time somebody writes a negative review about something as well. Seems like they're just wasting their time if they aren't doing something they're satisfied about.

Yes because if he likes the place but doesn't like a policy of theirs then that's what he SHOULD do. These businesses WANT feedback, why do you think they spend so much of their time sending out surveys??

It is because of people who think they way you do that they cannot get good customer feedback.

Will the manager think it's pointless for him to tell him his opinion? Only if he's a bad manager..

P.S. To give a store feedback about a policy you do not like, and is why you don't shop there, is not "arguing".

It's not a store policy, it's a corporate one, so yelling at the manager will be as effective as yelling at the cashier at the grocery store that this loaf of bread is too expensive. It's not in their power to change what you have a problem with.

I'd imagine if you were serious about affecting change, calling corporate or emailing them would be more effective. Though not as effective as voting with your wallet, and moving to a different store, which is the ultimate feedback.

But we don't. Most of us just take our business elsewhere and let GameStop do them.

So instead of going next door to his BB and getting a deal, he should go write a letter to GameStop corporate to get a policy changed that puts more money in his pocket but less in GS's? W'ere talking about a business, right?

Doesn't matter if it is a store policy or a corporate one, customers interact with store managers who are then supposed to relay that to corporate.

And since when is anyone advocating yelling at anyone about anything?

Again, there's a difference between yelling at someone and causing problems and relaying a concern to management, which is what their job is btw, to be aware of customer concerns..

Voting with your wallet is ideal but only after you let the store know why you are voting with your wallet. If they don't know why then you're not doing anything because they have no idea why you aren't shopping there.

My main concern about Gamestop is the line can move really slow when it's busy. I'm not sure complaining about them not price matching a few buck difference helps that.

If he likes Gamestop and this is a main concern of his that is keeping him from going there then he should let the Gamestop store manager know his concern and then go shop wherever he gets a good deal at in the mean time.

And no, lol, he shouldn't have to spend his free time writing letters to anyone, that is up to the store manager to be aware of customer concerns and relay what he is seeing on the 'front lines' to upper management.

                That is their JOB.

                  Folks!!!

Back to game deals. No one cares where you get them from, who you like/dislike and who you complain to when you have an issue with corporate policy.

This all would have been a great "how to properly protest as a patron" addition to the death of customer service thread.

                    Here? Not so welcome.

If I use my prime membership to pre-order MLB The Show 17 MVP addition for around $55 can I use this promo code on top of that?

So the reason why it can't be included is because video games are excluded.
