This game is captivating. ME3 and this game are the only games which have gotten me emotionally invested into a game. This series is far more deep. With ME3 I had a general "concern" for my Shepard and for all of the characters, esepcially my love interest Tali.

However, with the Walking Dead video game, I put myself right into the thick of the situation. The choices I make immerse me into the world. The actions which take place because of my choices connect me in a way that weaves my emotions into the characters that are part of the group.

TTG has really done a fantastic job w/ this game. Its one of the best I've ever played.
Once you get to Episode 5.... It's the best, but the most saddest. Don't watch the YouTube walkthroughs, to be more emotionally attached with the story, play the thing through by yourself..... I can't wait till Season 2 now cause what happened in Episode 5, it's like you felt you where in the game, you felt just as happy, sad, or whatever. Great job by Teletale Games... It's better for everyone to not spoil the ending until season 2 Episode 1 is out. If you do want to know the ending, the feeling of losing someone is involved.

The song during the credits is one of the most appropriate song choices I've heard in anything.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

This game nailed it emotionally. Should end up winning game awards.

That should win many many awards. I watched a playthrough of it online and the commentary guy was choking up live, I had to fight back tears. This is what story based gaming should be like.

Them making this an episodic game was genius. Slow burn yielded great results for me.

If this game does not win awards I'll stop playing games! This game is just a downloadable game and beats most regular $60 games by far.

                  I agree.

...and Shak3 turned me onto another little gem...Project Zomboid....that is another great little game, with no flash but a lot of substance. I can also see the updates and mods will put it into another level.

IMO game companies should take note.....the meat of the game is not only what's presented on the screen...but giving the player more difficult choices to make and it will drag the user in. Putting a player on rails and showing him pretty cutscenes is not going to make it for much longer. It's like Zork is coming back a bit....but with better visuals.

Do you guys start an episode and play thru without saving? This shows how deeply addicting this game is, I have never saved a episode after starting one and came back to it later. I played each episode till the end without stopping, how can you stop!?!? That goes a long way in saying how this game drew me in like no other, getting involved in a game is one thing but once emotions or feelings get involved forget about it! I've played games for 20+ years and can't remember playing a game that tugged at me in these ways before.... Maybe MLB The Show but that's a different story lol

                            Nope...no saving for me.
I make sure I'm good for a couple of hours of time...and go all the way through.

Roughly 10-11 I'd say. Thinking back I would say each episode is about 2 hrs long.
