Re: Favorite/Best video game mission
Grand Theft Auto III PS2.
Can't remember the name of the mission, but it involved chasing down an ambulance with an injured guy of interest in it and running the ambulance off the road until enough damage was done that the guy fell out the back doors of the ambulance onto the street. the guy was in a full body cast so the next task was to run him over about 5-10 times forwards and backwards with a car until he was dead. i remember that being pretty funComment

Re: Favorite/Best video game mission
The last mission of Wing Commander 4 when you go on trial.
Forgot the name of them but it is a couple of missions in Medal of Honor. One was when you took the tower and had to use your laser designator to point out the targets for the air force to destroy. That was awesome. Another level was when you played as the rangers and had to hold out against 100 enemy around this abandoned house.Comment

Re: Favorite/Best video game mission
I basically want to say all of FFX cause imo that was the best game i've ever played lol. I can't really remember all the missions from the games i've played, cause in the past few years I haven't gotten many games and when I was 12 I played games like Dungeon Siege/Icewind Dale, etc
Some good one's have been mentioned, the restaraunts from MW2, KH2 with the FF characters.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Favorite/Best video game mission
Good Call. That was a perfectly designed level- shooting, running, jumping, puzzle solving, story elements, off the charts tension. A masterpiece.
Most of my favorite missions are from Strategy RPG's like Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force or Disgaea.
Smart enemy tactics make a mission much more fun then just dealing with overwhelming numbers.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Bank shootout in GTA 4 is up there for me...Reminded me of that shootout in Heat..EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
