I'm pretty sure that adapter will work.

I'm pretty sure it somehow uses the USB port and cables to transfer whats being fed from the adapter to the TV.

It basicially takes the signal from the VCR or whatever other device you got setup and transfers it to the ADAPTER(cable modem lookin' thing). The USB cable then transfers what was being shown on the VCR through the adapter and onto the computer.

I think thats how it works.

I would personally just buy a video card with a TV IN plug.

Thanks Wally. I'm probably just going to do that. Then I'd have to find Image Capturing Software too.

So it may be a little while before I go on and do that.

I guess now I have to do more research on what video cards have the TV In port. My GForce 4 has a TV Out port, but I doubt that would work on seeing my TV Screen on my Computer.

By the way, no VCR is involved. I plug the RCA cords into the back of the TV, which the TV has a Video channel.

I just got a new pc, btw and it has the geforce 4 mx agp8x 64mb card in it, with tv out ports.

I'm almost sure you could just buy another video card with a tv tuner card.

I'm almost positive the all in wonder Radeon 9700, which runs for 400 bucks, has what we're looking for.

I wanna record shows too, or capture my games.

I have the exact same video card, lol.

I'm probably just going to do something else now since Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, and all the other stores that sell computer hardware don't have a freakin clue of what I'm trying to do. It's like they sell the products, but they're not sure if it'll do the job. I swear, you go online to ask people, they know more about the hardware you need and can even point you in the right direction; but they people they point you to has to freakin clue, lol
