I usually go for Amazon, due to the release day shipping and gift cards, but I went with Gamestop for AC:R.

I'm Canadian,amazon.ca is terrible. Release day shipping cost like $10 extra and they've only once ever did the credit thing. I've ordered lesser available games there but they've completely messed up too many times so I'm done with them for games.

Futureshop has no idea what version they're getting other than a steelbook. gamestop.ca charges $10 shipping too.

Perhaps to save money and hassle....has there been any word if there's a bonus for having a Brotherhood save like Brotherhood had for having an AC 2 save?

Some sort of gold bonus and a weapon I think.

The upgraded villa, gold, weapons and armor all get taken from you after the first scene so if there was any kind of bonus it was completely inconsequential.

In either case, I have not heard of any bonuses in Revelations regarding previous save files.

Ouch. Gamestop was the choice due to them being the only ones in the US to have the "Signature Edition". It's getting to be a pain in the *** when it comes to all these different pre order bonuses.
