Im the opposite, Ive never played the first one and played all the others lol. The first one did come on the disc with Revelations (PS3 that is), so I will get to play it eventually. I would honestly recommend getting II and Brotherhood, they are both such good games (Revelations as well), and really introduce you to the characters and backstory of Ezio. Plus if you start with II and learn the controls, the added controls introduced in Brotherhood and Revelations are a lot easier to adapt to.

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Played the 1st one, but didn't play any of the others. Since all the older ones are so cheap, would it be worth buying ACII and Brotherhood and then picking up the new one at Black Friday? The other two would only be about 40$ combined and the new one is 38$ on BF so it wouldn't be too bad. Are they worth the time of completing all of them?
The Altair parts of this were pretty sweet.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I'm not sure. I did a lot of the side stuff. Oddly there's no play time displayed for these games. I would guess Brotherhood is at least 15 hours, not sure about II but that's probably not far off. The main story in this one seems really short. Still doing most of the side stuff so it's long overall.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Yeah Assassins Creed 2 by far was the longest out of the series. But then again it made sense since that is when you followed Ezio's life from birth on up until his 30s.Comment

AC Brotherhood (68% Trophies)
Synchronization 53.46%
Time Played 22:48:56
Distance Covered 183427m
ACII (100% Trophies)
Synchronization 64.8%
Time Played 22:23:39
Distance Covered 201263m
I didn't play any Brotherhood multiplayer, that time is all single player. Brotherhood I knew I would never do the multiplayer stuff so I wasn't worried about getting things like the feathers.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
SpoilerI just finished this game and the only thing that disappoints me about it is that I finished the within a week. I spent a little bit more time with AC:B (but at times I felt the pacing was too quick as well) Of course it's my fault for putting along quickly through the story, but I sure wish that there was more in Constantinople. It's such a huge city and 6 memory sequences is too little for such a place. In any case, aside from the story length, the story itself was good in my opinion. The sequences where you get to play through portions of Altair's life was a nice touch and sure gives some closure to his character and his role in the series.
I found the bomb crafting to be very addicting in this game, especially creating and using the tactical/diversion ones. The den defense was alright and fortunately I only had three to deal with during my playthrough (I got steamrolled in one of them) and I like the added missions for training your master assassins. I can't wait for the next one to come out (and I may have to wait a while to do so because of a future obligation).
I think this was a great game with everything considered.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Well...Since GS b2g1f was today for PU members, I figured I'd stop in and see what's up.
I had already bought Saints 3 the other day used so I returned it to rebuy in the deal.
I had roughly 36 and some change in credit to use also..
Ended up with SR3, AC:Revelation and Uncharted 3.Joshua:
