Welp sorry guys. I fell asleep and not even my alarm could wake me.

That's what I get for staying up after work and doing laundry. Basically was up for like 16 hours before going to sleep. Lol.

Fresh install of Windows 8, Arma III is installing now while I'm at work. Going to get all the mods in and be ready to join you fellas soon

Last nights mission was awesome. Sneaked up behind a truck with 50 cal and popped both the driver and shooter. I was using wrong keys on task force radio as I could hear and speak if near everyone, but once I got out of range I lost contact. Now that I figured that out I can keep in contact in game with everyone. Another lesson learned.

Last nights mission was awesome. Sneaked up behind a truck with 50 cal and popped both the driver and shooter. I was using wrong keys on task force radio as I could hear and speak if near everyone, but once I got out of range I lost contact. Now that I figured that out I can keep in contact in game with everyone. Another lesson learned.

Yeah that ISIS fighter with the .50 chewed through myself and Phobia pretty quickly.

That mission was pretty intense. I'm watching you 3 position inside the town...I'm about to leave my overwatch position..then I hear all hell break loose.

Just look in my signature, you only need to download and install that one mod. It contains all the mods we are running. When I update any mods I will let everyone know to update their OS mod pack. Makes it easier for everyone to stay with the same version of everything.

Yea the way Task Force Radio works is like this.

Default game "direct chat" channel is where you talk and people can only hear you to a certain range. With Task Force Radio enabled, in teamspeak WITHOUT the game running you can talk to anyone over Teamspeak with no issues. Once ARMA is started the plugin takes over. It changes your Teamspeak name to the same name you have in game and then turns your push to talk teamspeak key to a direct chat key only. So you can't talk to people when dead or from anywhere. You radio which is default capslock for task force radio is your means of communication in game.

The beginning where we moved up, positioned our team upstairs in that large apartment complex. We were checking windows for enemy when I spotted 4 coming right at us. I literally hollered "CONTACTSSSSSS!!!!!!" on accident lol. Then we all just started ringing out rounds, but the fighting got pretty intense with bullets ripping through the walls and windows. Plus there was like 20 of them outside surrounding that building from all angles. Just so happen you got caught right at the moment of contact while you were crossing that opening. Luckily I was the medic and able to bandage you up to stop the bleeding. You took a round to your left and right arm, which I'm sure did not help your aiming. You later took a round to the torso, which I was able to patch up. You took the most rounds I thinking anyone has in a mission and lived hahaha. It was not until that 50 caught us, there was no surviving that

I love how much easier the enemy go down with AGM. Makes a big difference in the realism.

Sorry I had to cut out after one mission, just so happened right when the mission was over, my wife finished dinner. So I went stuff my face and relax on the couch.

Its a blast to be honest. I can't think of any other game which is as intense as ARMA 3. It is not so much the "war" aspect that makes it intense, but the slow build up a mission requires, knowing how planning, setup, and execution makes a drastic difference from death (which is more common than success) or a thrilling ride to making it out alive. Its a huge satisfaction when you complete a mission, because everyone knows those moments of success are rare lol.

Granted we have successfully completed 1 out of 3 so far.

1st) Move into a ISIS Village and destroy a weapon cache. Failed...Me, paper, and AA died. Candy happened to live. I can't remember if J4son lived in this one. We completed it but required a second life.

2nd) ISIS have captured a reporter and is threatening to behead him. We executed this one perfectly, zero causalities, and very little rounds fired back at us. AA put us in perfect position overlooking the compound and we hit them hard with everything we had. Destroyed them pretty quick and effective.

3rd) ISIS controlled a large city and we were tasked to move in and clear out the ISIS force. I call this a draw. We completed it but Me, my dad, and AA all died. Paper happened to make it all the way through. I think paper would of completed it alone but we moved back in to help on our second life.

Cant wait to hop back in as a sniper and destroy. That was the most fun I had in Arma.

I've watched a ton of Jester videos on Arma 3 and see how things can go bad if you don't execute tactics right

I just cant wait to get in. If i can't get this card to work which i believe is a windows 8 issue, i'll try my old one again hoping there is no issue like before and apply for RMA. It's only been a week since I got it, or at least tomorrow will be.

Missed you guys last night again. But I did get some time in some King of the Hill modes and running some Coop on that 7th Cav server Phobia posted a few pages back.

Guys there are serious and make the game fun. I didn't do too much communicating though because I felt like I was doing something wrong.

I just stuck with my team and listened to the squad leader. Those 60 man Coop CTI missions are crazy.
